Always great customer service but today the gentleman Gary was soooo nice. Given myself, sister and nieces were very loud and silly in the shop! Gary was nice and helped me out looking for a engine stand I wanted (even though the one I wanted was sold out). Even when I told him I am rebuilding a Mercedes engine (I'm female), he did not make any smart comments like most men would. By the end he was super helpful at looking at other stands and even carried the one I picked to the car. He also was content with laughing at a few jokes while we waited. Any female customers, I highly recommend chatting to Gary!

We encountered fantastic service here with both the staff and manager, they were really helpful and willing to assist with our needs.

Always get great help from Seb and Ben in Fyshwick, they both helped me out with a fast turn around on a tool repair.

Picked up the phone today after dealing with the Tools at Total Tools and struck Jay on the phone. Pleasant, Helpful and informative… even prepared to give a little off the price for a multiple purchase. Highly recommend as he went above and beyond the order takers down the road who had zero product knowledge or interest to assist a customer.

Took my Makita blower vac in for repairs today at 11am. Got a call at 12 noon letting me know it was fixed and ready for collection. Despite not covered by warranty they fixed it for free. Staff were excellent and they are highly recommended.

A great store with exceptional service. I went into the store without an exact idea of what tools I needed but I knew the job I needed to do. Awesome staff went above and beyond - and they know their stuff!

Needed to pick up something as simple as a screwdriver but was immediately stopped by a staff member - turns out the one I picked was going to totally wreck the screws on my laptop. Immediately guided me to a better priced, specialised set and took the time to test it out on the spot with me to make sure things were in order (with one arm in a sling no less!).

Brought them back, true enough they worked like a charm. Made my day!

Fantastic store. I found the staff to be pleasant and attentive. I came in unsure on a few things and was pleasantly surprised to find Daniel was more than happy to explain things for me. Felt very welcomed and I will happily return here with my business.

I buy nearly all my tools here - great service, friendly and helpful. Will make suggestions if you ask. Not to say other toolstores aren't OK but would always buy here before looking elsewhere.

Rocky was very helpful and knew exactly where all the items I required were located. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. He was also helpful with moving bulky items to the car.

Pick up a booster pack for the diesel. Had it in stock for the advertised price. Expect to wait though staff always doing something, takes time to get their attention.

I spoke with Luke and i would honestly give more stars because the customer service i recieved was bloody amazing. Luke was incredibly genuine and respectful. The long established Combined Electrical and Workshop Services are now trading as the Canberra branch of Sydney Tools and have moved two doors down into a larger building. They have the best prices and biggest range of any tool shop I can find in Canberra. If you are shopping for a quality power tool they are certainly worth a visit.

The best service for tools in Canberra by far, I was greeted at the door by Daniel he showed me to the tool, gave me a demo and had back in my car in 10 mins. The boys also hooked me up with batteries for my purchase. Legends!!
