Great reserve with BBQ facilities, public toilets and play equipment for the kids. Can get a bit windy but almost no waves or wash so good for kids.

Very clean free bbq's and picnic area overlooking a perfect swimming spot for young and not so young. Great for families as there is plenty of seating right in front of children's playground area

This was an absolutely beautiful place. The view cannot be beaten and a swim can be had as well. There is a playground for the kids, BBQ's with seating. The BBQ area and tables is covered for protection on hot days. There is an amenities block for rinsing off and changing after a swim. Everything was very clean. A fantastic place for all the family. There are a couple of tables under the far trees for the romantics.

Beautiful little area.
We had bbq breakfast here and the kids played on the park.
We went for early morning paddle board and swim and it was magic.

Lovely spot with a great view! The wind very much helped reduced the heat which was super appreciated, so it was a welcome rest spot. Worth spending a bit of time here, the playarea would work well for children and the young at heart. They've got bathrooms here too, helpful for those who want to spend a decent amount of time here or who are using it as a starting point for a walk up to Kangaroo Point.

A beautiful view to the east looking down the length of Port Stephens with Yacaaba and Tomaree headlands in the distance... it's a narrow strip the depth of a house block and maybe 7 or 8 house blocks long... it is a nice area for a swim... has BBQ facilities and a toilet block as well it also has a tap for washing off kayaks etc.
Very exposed to a Noreaster which may make swimming here uncomfortable in those conditions but it has a truly lovely aspect over the bay... parking is 45⁰ angled parking for the full length of the park.
I would imagine it would be very busy in the Summer but the road here is wide enough to park cars both sides to take any overflow...

Best place to chill with the kids and have a dip, play at the park and BBQ. Relaxed, comfortable and just perfect every time.

Was a great place to swim. Still is but all the trees have been cut down. So no shade to have a BBQ under or just relax and take the view in. Shame.

Lovely little Park, good amenities, lovely beach to walk on.

Lovely little park and shallow water beach, very safe for kids due to water depth and lack of current, very busy in summer.
