Super lovely setup with wicked funky old school tunes.
Most excellent vibe for having a bite and a sip of life saving elixir.
Simple, classic, well done and delicious menu.
Don't bother with the rest .. this place is legit .. the best!

We had a yummy satisfying meal. We asked for a salad which was not on the menu, to have with the sweet potato fries, and was very pleased. You could put your own balsamic vinegarette or just squeeze some lemon over the salad. Staff were efficient. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

The best coffee we have had, either on the Central Coast or the Mid Coast. It was worth the diversion to Taree for it. Friendly staff too.

The best chai in Taree. I highly recommend trying the carrot cake it's to die for. Will definitely be dropping in for lunch while in town.

Sitting in The Hooting Owl as I write this ! Fantastic coffee. Unlike lots of places ,double shot is standard so the coffee tastes like…..coffee !!

The best coffee in Taree

Great little coffee shop. A bit of a guess when they are open BUT they know how to make an old style cappuccino. Friendly, staff and very quirky.

Great coffee but doesn’t actually open at 7:30.

Disinterested staff, no eye contact, no table clearing. Very ordinary food disguised by a well-worded menu that fell short of its promise.

The one time I've been able to get a coffee here, it was great. But I haven't been able to get a second because they're never open. Opening times seem completely random. Nearby cafes are buzzing but this place is locked up ... As usual.
