Lobby's Fresh Seafood and Takeaway

I walked past this shop today and it smelled great so came back again tonight to give them a go and it was worth it.

Ordered the kids schnitzel, veggie burger and two small chips.

Best chips I’ve ever tasted! Best veggie burger I have ever had. It was packed with beetroot, lettuce and they even melted the cheese onto the corn patty which made it taste amazing. You don’t want cold cheese on a burger ever.

Service was really friendly and the meal was cooked very fast.

Certainly affordable and the menu is quite extensive.

Hubby wanted some fresh local prawns on the last day of our holidays and having been to Lobby’s a few years ago we thought we’d go again. Polite, friendly and hardworking staff, and lovely clean premises that were not ‘fishy’ 😊. Hubby was absolutely stoked with his lunch - 8 huge fresh, sweet prawns for $10. My BLT was piping hot, fresh made and assembled on a lovely toasted bun (rather than a pre-made and squashed in a sandwich press). It is more of a takeaway so the seating is not a dining experience, but despite it being a heatwave today we were happy at a shaded table outside with the cool breeze. Thanks for a delicious lunch!

Tremendous value, $20 for the seafood basket for 2 people. Battered fish, calamari rings, scallops, crumbed prawns even included chips, lemon & tartare sauce! Such a generous serve, everything tasted fresh and the batter on the fish was light and the crumbed seafood was crunchy, chips were delicious too! Highly recommend!

Not so busy, and staff much more friendly and approachable, at our last visit they were obviously coming to the end of a hot busy shift.
Nice fish, great chips, and perfect calamari rings. Generous to a fault, we couldn't finish the portion of chips between us (mind that was on top of the calamari rings and grilled fish).

Visited here back in early Jan, it was busy, but the seafood platter is so yum, oyster is fresh, lemon were missing though the young girls and boys were helpful!

Great people. We shared a fisherman's basket. Very fresh and plenty for 2. Tables in shop and under trees outside.

Stopped here on my way back home to Canberra. After not having coast fresh fish and chips for a few years, I ordered the Barra and Chips and loved every bite. The fish was amazing and was a generous portion and the chips were awesome. I can't recommend this place enough and I would rank it up there with some of the best i've had.

Tried this place for a quick dinner on our first night in Forster. And WOW were we impressed!!

We tried the seafood basket for $20. Everything was cooked to perfection! Good value for money, portion size was great, nothing too oily and the chips were.... YUM! Double cooked and beer-battered 👍 best fish and chips we've tried in a long time.

So good in fact we visited another few times during our stay! And We will make sure to come back everytime we are in the area. Thanks Lobbys!

Very friendly staff and super quick service. We ordered a seafood basket for 4 people to snack on and it was super tasty. In particular, nothing felt oily even though all of the food was deep fried.

We called in for a takeout, our 2nd visit, the 1st visit being not so good..the menu was pretty much decimated and the staff were obviously fairly fried by the heat and being very busy, but the fish and chips were great, so we thought we'd give them another chance. A quieter day, cheerful smiling chatty staff, patient with us doddery old pensioners. Big BIG piece of fish, beautifully fried crisp tastey calamari. All reasonabley price.

Quick service (not too long to wait for your order to be served). You must order additional tartar sauce tho as their portion is quite big 😄, could feed 2 people. Well at least 2 people in my family. I ordered onion ring too. It was tasty and crunchy.

The best fish and chip shop in Forster, and that is saying something because there are a few. Great service.

AhhMAzing!!! Fresh praws, fresh oysters. The Orange Roughy was to die for. Totally worth it!!!
