Thai Tarni Restaurant

I thought this restaurant is closed as the last review was 3 months ago. Glad we went there for our last dinner in Taree. Place is clean and food is tasteful.

Thai massaman beef done to perfection. Lunch specials are full of taste and good value for money. Shortish waiting time.

Ordered a masaman curry, a pad se yu, curry puffs, spring rolls and rice for just over 50 bucks. It was ready in good time, very good serving sizes and tasted great. Everything was fresh tasting, not over salted and enjoyable. Will definitely be back for more

I always assess Thai food on the quality of its massamun beef - nothing worse than the wrong cut of beef and it’s dry, or the curry is watery or flavourless … but this one truly is SENSATIONAL!!
I was amazed !! So unexpected in a little place like Taree !
Probably the best I have had - including Sydney and Melbourne thai restaurants!! Slow cooked, tender, melt in your mouth chunks of beef and such a rich flavour ! and so affordable ! Definitely making this a regular when in the area !!

Quiet and quaint little diner with good food at reasonable prices - I rate it!

The satay chicken skewers were a bit on the dry side and a bit chewy but not bad.
The massman curry beef was really nice. The beef was slow cooked and quite soft. Taste of the massaman curry was delicious. Peanuts on top was a nice touch.
The bowl of jasmine rice was a really nice portion.
All in all very good!

Great food, beautiful authentic Thai.

The serving sizes are so enormous we couldn't finish. Very tasty food much like what one expects to find in Asia. Not much seating but interesting interior decoration. The drinks could be cheaper but we already had our own so that didn't matter. Would like to go back there again sometime and it's good they're open at better times than the place over the road.

The food was pretty good but I would like to comment on the service.
My family and I went on a Thursday The food came really quik and we were served almost immediately the by the kindest waitress She may have only been teen but she was extremely nice and understanding and so friendly I would certainly eat there again!

WOW.. 😁Our first time.. we walked in tonight and asked the chef for her favourite entrees and mains as we couldn't decide . We weren't disappointed.. Everything was so fresh and tasty.. Service was impeccable and the boys are very polite.. We will be back.

Used to have their 10$ lunch almost every day when I worked nearby. Ate everything on their entire menu a few times over.

We were in Taree for the night traveling from Brisbane by far the best Thai I have had. Very impressed only problem is I ate too much.
