My wife, Soo had a left knee replacement carried out by Dr Simon Smith in early 2019. Every area of appointments, tests that were carried out, operation & after care were superb & we couldn't speak more highly of Dr Smith or his team. 10/10!!

I had a total right hip replacement, and a total left knee replacement, in 2018 and could not speak more highly of the quality of the service I received from Simon. Staff at his rooms were also very friendly and super efficient. Quality service from a caring and highly professional surgeon. Highly recommended...

I had two replacement hip operations, the first in 2015 and the second in 2017. Dr Simon Smith was a very caring and communicative surgeon. Both operations healed quickly and I have been very active post surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Smith. He is young and energetic and we are lucky to have him here in the South West. In Mar 2011, Dr Smith removed a small protruding meniscal tear in my right knee. This had been intermittently causing a lot of pain and swelling in my knee and wasn't diagnosed by work physio's. Then Simon confirmed his belief when I saw him and he spotted the barely visible indications in an MRI. I liked my options for anesthesia, I was awake during the operation as it was minor, (some surgeons wouldn't even consider it). He explained what he was going to do and was doing the whole time , clearly, calmly and confidently. Immediately located /confirmed the small tear on entry with the orthoscope then examined the rest of the knee to confirm good condition everywhere else. Took pictures for my record even though I was seeing it first-hand. ~Two weeks checked the healing of the incisions and ensured i had full movement and no other issues. I was a happy customer. The only thing we agreed might be beneficial for some was a couple of compulsory physio sessions as further follow-up.

I had right knee replacement ( Uni compartmental ) and 2 years later a left knee arthroscopy performed by Dr Simon Smith. Brilliant professional Orthopaedic surgeon in my opinion. I have recommended him to other family members and friends.

Total professional, talented surgeon who is an excellent communicator and a very caring person. Thanks Dr Smith, we appreciate the fine surgery and caring follow up.

I can’t recommend Simon enough had a Total Knee Replacement 2 weeks ago and he and his staff have been amazing I am walking and bending my knee with minimal pain we are so very lucky to have him here in the South West

Very disappointed and frustrated with his office. MRI referral was misplaced. Three weeks later a new one was faxed to SKG. Documents were signed to get all my surgery records sent from Canberra. (I’m a returned vet, approx 14 knee ops, and covered by DVA) . Documents never arrived, no record of requesting them. Was also told that Dr Smith would contact me regarding the results of the MRI. Never heard from him. I made follow up phone calls.....nothing. Would not recommend him or his office from this experience.
