Great food , friendly service, clean . Definitely feel like Japanese vibe , beautiful decoration. One of the best ramen I had in Sydney . Restaurant is packed at lunch time , if you go early as long as the restaurant, that’s good . Otherwise inside the restaurant can be a little noisy.

Great atmosphere. Very fresh sashimi and sushi. Good flavour, served with generous amount of fresh wasabi and pickled ginger. Forgot to take photos of the sushi, nice arrangement and flavour, lots of sauce which I prefer. Order via QR code at the table, pay at the counter after meal. Charges 1.5% if pay by card, so bring cash with you to save on this.

I have eaten here multiple times and am still obsessed. The ramen never disappointed me and the portion was quite big. I don't recommend sushi since this is a ramen restaurant so the sushi was not good. The fried chicken was so crispy and I loved the croquette. One of my favourite spots in Bankstown.

Sat down and was overwhelmed with choice. Big decisions on what to order. Massive menu so spent time weighing up options. Settled on katsu curry for myself, kids had karaage don each, hubby had spicy pork meal with rice. Delicious! Also had gyoza which was awesome too.

They won't take your order - you must scan the QR code and select what to order. You pay afterwards, not through the app.

Had a nice time here. Thank you 😊

Loved the vibe and atmosphere when walking in to be seated. Food was delicious with a wide range of entrees to choose from.

The food was served nicely presented and it shows the amount of care and dedication they’ve put in.

Visited this Japanese restaurant with my family yesterday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere, service, and, most importantly, the food were outstanding. Can't wait to return!

Best Japanese restaurant in Bankstown. I ate here around 8 years ago since the lunch Bento price was around $12.50. I came back here again, and the food portion is still the same even though the price increased to $17-$18 for lunch Bento.

The portion is big and worth it for the price. There is no need to order any side dishes if ordering lunch bento set.

Service is good and quick. Food is cooked to perfection. Really recommended chicken namban!!! It is the best dish for lunch bento set. I really love their crispy chicken and namban sauce. The best ever is a chef didn't put sauce too much. So the chicken is still crispy with a yummy namban sauce on top!!

This is one of the best restaurants with the best service in the area. I regret not knowing it sooner.

Can't fault the food one bit!

Seriously good quality fish! Always fresh! And they have kept their standard up constantly, never a disappointment!

Not expensive and very well priced,

Keep up the amazing work!

Thankyou!

Best sushi and ramen I've had, all within a neat price range. Been here 4 times and each time the quality is consistent. The aburi selection is to die for.

Hanamaruya is simply unbeatable
From the warm and polite staff members, the izakaya style interior and the light jpop that whispers back of the ear reminisces dotonbori of Osaka..
There is huge selection of food to choose from,
As authentic as nigiri and sashimi boat to a modernised vocanoe roll, this restaurant is for all.
All the dishes are carefully prepared, served with photogenic presentation, excuted with wow flavours.
Delicious yet affordable. If you have been dining in Japanese restaurants you will know what I mean.
Hanamaruya is an iconic hotspot for Bankstown siders so the restaurant gets very busy during peak hours and weekends and it is worth the wait in the que :)

Would you expect to find Japanese food in the heart of Bankstown? Not really, but Hanamaruya is a restaurant you must try! The sushi is delicious and I wish I had ordered more. The ramen was very filling with an addicting savoury broth.

Service was good as the staff are friendly. Seating was a bit tight however and the table can get filled up easily if you order a lot (which is tempting).

Food was great just wished they did a snack size version of chicken karrage - which was drenched in a weird sauce that was overly sweet?

Besides that, great Japanese food for the area!

Since the day it opened till now, its has always consistently been good offering tasty delicious Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. They update and alter their menu as they've grown so there are always new and exciting things to try.

This was one the first Japanese restaurant in Bankstown, and they've really set the benchmark for other resturants in the area. It can become quite busy at times so try to get in early.

Update: 2022
It's been several years since I've dined here and I'm pleased to say they have not let me down since opening. I have noticed prices creep up over time, however I'm happy to continue supporting them as they still consistently sever good food time and time again.
