The Heights Bar & Bistro

We had our dart presentation night with dinner and desert here last night (18th Nov 2023) and The Heights Bar and Bistro were awesome. They catered for all our needs as requested a could of unforeseen hiccups but they managed them very well.

Thank you from myself president of Northern Suburbs Ladies Darts Association and my members for helping us to celebrate an important night. Also the band they had playing was great even some of our Ladies that normally don't dance got up and danced.

The food was a real surprise as the flavour was well thought out. And tasted so magical. Well done to all the team . A rare find in such a area. We will be back. The pork belly with pea puree and other flavours fantastic. Bangers and mush the best around.

One of the best Bar in the NOR. Its our go to place since 10 years. You always get consistency with nice friendly atmosphere. Food is amazing. Must try ☺

We ate here for the first time tonight. Will definitely be back. The food was great, the service was fast but the real credit to the restaurant was the staff. They were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We even saw one of them changing a customers flat tyre in the car park as we were leaving. What a legend.

Having just moved from interstate this pub has a fantastic feel. Food is great in terms of value and quality. I’m glad it’s walking distance from my new home. Met the Manager Jake tonight too. Very welcoming. Lots of specials on different nights and loving the cocktail deals between 6.30 and 8.30pm on Friday!!

Phil the owner is always so friendly and accommodating. We love the food here. The garlic prawns are incredible as is the pork belly. My husband and I often come here for lunch. The specials are always great and the food is well priced.

Have been here many times for lunch and dinner. The owner goes beyond to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied. The staff are very fast and friendly. The chef is great. The food was fantastic. My wife and myself had the chicken parmy with chips and salad for lunch. Can't complaint it was all good.

This pub puts all others i have been to , to shame.
The food is just brilliant. I had the fish and chips after seeing a monster serve appear from the kitchen. Mine was no different but they delivered as promised from the menu with the fish being of good quality. It was flaky, juicy and not some frozen effort you get in other pubs. The tartare sauce was the best i have had too. Its a small pub with a friendly atmosphere punching out items you would not expect. Makes me wonder what is wrong with all the others and why they cant deliver what this pub does. All the other food I saw leaving the service area is making me want to come back and try it all.. Good job lads

Great atmos, positive vibe, lovely food, its been our go to place since many years.

Just stopped here for a bit of lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu had a good choices plus their was a Seniors menu.
Prices were good $15.00 for a meal and the seniors also $15.00 which also included soup. I was into my lunch before I thought to take a photo so it has had a few bites taken out.

The food has improved out of site since the change over from Paddy's. Simple food done well. My Chicken Parma was made with hand cut chips and a home made Neapolitan sauce. Very generous portion size of good quality chicken, cooked well, unlike a lot of other pubs. The kids meal again had hand cut chips, and in house "nuggets" made from tenderloin and not processed at all. It's the little things like this that make the difference. - We will be back.

Great portions for the lunch specials!! Definitely recommend - especially the chicken parmi :)

We had lunch at the Heights on Tuesday. The food , Pork Belly, Garlic Prawns and Fish n Chips, was nicely presented, well cooked and tasty. The portion sizes were large, so large in fact that 2 of us were unable to eat it all. The young woman who served us was very friendly and professional. She appeared to be serving both the restaurant and the bar, single handedly, and proved very efficient at both. She is a real asset to the business. Thanks so much Kiana 🙂 we'll be back.

First time here, we had our sports wind up dinner. Food was great and staff were amazing. Thankyou.

I would like to thank the manager and staff for the amazing job they did when we had my husbands wake at the Heights. Everyone commented on how nice the food was. It’s a credit to them that 30 people were all fed at the same time. Great service and great price. It’s our local and we love it.

Whether I’m calling in for a lunch special, a quiet drink, or sitting down with my partner for dinner, the food, drinks and service is already incredible. The owners are so welcoming and kind, as are the other bartenders / waitress.

If you enjoy a steak, I highly recommend it - it’s delicious! But you can’t really go wrong here.

The vibe varies depending on the day, some are more relaxed, others are a bit busier and louder but given the venue and it’s different areas, you can find a place suited to you regardless.

We came here with family to celebrate my Daughters 21st. We had such a wonderful night. The food was all amazing, and the staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Thank you so much!
