3 yrs ago I posted a review about this business when it was owned by George - it was a negative review, still visible and basically said stay away from them, dishonest and overpriced..

So when I had to call them back about a warranty claim on a pump I really held no hope for a positive outcome but was I surprised ! Dean the new owner was friendly, helpful and provided a replacement pump at the best price I could find... such a refreshing change not only compared to the previous business owner but also to many previous experiences I have had with operatives in this industry.

Now I gladly recommend them for their excellent service and competitive pricing

Excellent and prompt service, I highly recommend this company. Our pool pump failed and we called Dean at 9am, by 10:45am a person attended and replaced the pool pump which prevented the water from turning green. Their advice is honest and their prices are reasonable.

My original Zodiac pump went to heaven last week. I thought with the hot weather coming up- the pool would go green. I rang these guys - answered by Anastasia - pump (same as before) was purchased and installation set. Competitive price as well. Bill who installed it - was on time and a minimum of fuss - even checked the skimmer basket - which needed replacing as well. A very pleasant and professional company. Pool saved and my sanity!

Specification, supply and installation of a new heat pump, new pool circulation pump, and new media pool filter, integrating with our existing chlorinator, was carried out smoothly and professionally by the team from Pump and Pool People. They worked hard to complete the job in a day. The new system works really well and our large pool was up to swimming temperature within two days. We are very happy with the products recommended by Pump and Pool People and the services they provided.

Just a big 5 star shout out to Chris who took the time to assist with a warranty concern from our other pump supplier. Chris took the time to listen to my concern and offer advice over the phone to fix the issue which was not his issue to begin with. He fixed our problem for us. I thought I had an odd situation with a broken, unconnected, very old style light fitting and was not sure if anything could be done to replace it easily or cost effectively. I had not been to this shop previously and decided to try it out. Kevin was amazing.....very prompt to call out to look at the issue, provide a solution and install/repair. I am very happy with the outcome and cannot recommend this shop highly enough. I am now a regular customer. Everyone who works there are always friendly and helpful. Great place with great employees.

By far the best service. Dean and the team have been awesome from day 1. I didn’t know much about pools and the maintenance side of things but they put my mind at ease. Easy monthly maintenance, great prices and very knowledgeable in what they do. Most importantly they are honest and genuine. I’ll be recommending them to anyone with a pool, you can’t go wrong! My retired father has been a long time customer here. His dealings with Dean (the manager) have always been so easy and helpful to deal with! He was super impressed with Dean and Rick (our Installer). Both men were polite, prompt and so kind to my dad. He is physically disabled after having multiple strokes. So doing heavy lifting is often difficult for him to do. Rick even went out of his way at the end of his day to bring my dad back some chlorine dad wanted for the pool! Now that’s service! We couldn’t recommend anyone else. Our pump was replaced so efficiently and quickly. Dad wanted to ensure others are aware just how great this company is! We will continue to be customers! Cannot recommend this place enough, A very helpful business who always tries to help you out when they can with prices. I knew nothing about looking after a pool but thanks to these guys i have learnt so much and my pool is always looking awesome. Very trustworthy, pump and pool have come to my house many times when it is unattended and everything has always been perfect. Definitely a go to place for anything pool related!

There are few companies in Sydney that exhibit the level of professionalism I've seen at Pump and Pool People. Talking with the store staff will give you the immediate impression of just how honest they are. They won't sell you anything you don't need. They are excellent communicators who take pride in their work. Rick, the guy who services our pool, is a consummate professional. He puts a lot of care in carefully measuring the pool's chemicals and making just the right adjustments. Even the look on his face tells a story of commitment and professional engagement. He's also nice to chat with. You can shop around, but I think you'll find that P&P People are the best in the area.

It was fantastic dealing with Dean, he is an absolute superstar! Very honest and great advice, great service and competitive pricing. What more could you ask for. Very happy to recommend Dean and this business for all your pool needs.
