Today the cafe was open for morning tea. Beautiful outlook. We are going back for a game of golf. Staff very welcoming.

We attended a private function in this beautiful historical homestead and stayed overnight in an on-site cabin. The venue is beautiful. Catering was generous and very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cabins are very comfortable and great value. A really enjoyable weekend.

We had our wedding and reception here, all catered by Zesty Edibles and Chef George. Not only was the food perfect, but they timed everything perfectly during the reception. I can’t thank the waitstaff enough for how attentive and knowledgeable they were to make the evening amazing. I’m not a local but will be visiting for a meal anytime I’m in Gympie. They’ve also got a great selection of craft and macro brew beers here.

I have dined several times recently with friends for lunch and my partner and I have been for dinner. We loved the food. The staff are attentive and welcoming. Relaxing views ... overall a great experience. Definitely recommend!!

Liz and the team were very helpful and welcoming, making our daughters 21st Birthday dinner experience one that was absolutely delightful.. lovely food in such a pretty setting of the golf course, and the homestead is beautiful! Keep up the excellence 😊👍

We just had our daughters wedding here. It was a really beautiful setting and the catering by Zesty Edibles was fantastic. George and Kirsten were great to deal with and George cooked us up a beautiful breakfast on the morning of the wedding while we were setting up the table decorations. The grounds and the Homestead are just perfect.

Im a wedding photographer and have been welcomed into the Gunabul Family when I photographed their wedding at the homestead. I can honestly say that it was like coming home, the team there are so welcoming, the grounds beautiful, the interior as genuine as they come and the food generous and delicious. I would recommend chatting to Vic and Hugh there about them helping you with your wedding.

Just had a great night at Gunnables. Was our friend's birthday celebration. The food never fails to please - beautiful hors d'oeuvres of mini quiches and savouries and tempura prawns. Buffet meal - roast meats vegetables cooked just right and nice and hot plus gravy - loved the potatoes cooked in skins and crispy bread rolls. Also self serve tea and coffee. Great service too. Looking forward to next end of year visit.

Excellent friendly service and GREAT food.. Relaxing on the veranda of this old homestead is like stepping back in time when life was peaceful and serene. Truly a place to be treasured and enjoyed. Wander the gardens, take snap shots to keep for remembrance and gaze at the memorabilia from that yesteryear era. I promise, you will return time and time again...We do!

Was dissapointed to be seated at a " table".....a piece of board .......no table cloth. 🤔

A huge thanks to George and the team at Gunabul for hosting our wedding. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The venue was the perfect backdrop to celebrate our special day and the food & service was amazing. George was so helpful and accommodating and made the entire wedding planning process a breeze.

WOW!!!! The most amazing assistance given to plan a reunion function for 190 people ... it was perfect and beyond expectations. George and his staff went all out ... so many grateful people!!!! We will be back each year for an inaugural event!!!!!

Lovely setting - tranquil on the large verandahs, great service - smiling, happy caring staff, awesome meals - perfect size using exceptional local produce, will return!

We recently stayed at Gunabul Homestead for a week, while visiting family in Gympie. The cabin was very spacious, furnished and outfitted well and most importantly - very clean. We utilised provided cooking facilities to make meals, as well as taking advantage of the restaurant on site. The cabin has a lovely outlook over part of the 18 hole golf course, which is part of the estate. For longer stays, a complimentary game is offered, which we also took advantage of. A terrific Par 3 course to have a game on - a pleasant surprise and way to spend an afternoon during our stay. Our thanks to our hosts Peter and Robyn, and look forward to staying again.

Awesome food and good service, food takes a while to be cooked but it’s amazing quality and they will adjust for dietary requirements which is a blessing in this day and age!

Great food in an immeasurable atmosphere. We had people from Brisbane at our function this week and they could not have been more delighted.
