Having seen all the beautiful cakes on Instagram, I ordered a tasting box to try a variety of cake treats with my friends. Each cake was absolutely delicious, flavourful and decadent, moist and truly scrumptious! Each cake/box is lovingly handmade and decorated, with a personalised card detailing descriptions of cakes and storage instructions. The customer service and attention to detail is also just as amazing - if you need anything, just ask and Trina will try to accommodate. I will certainly be placing future orders for important events requiring that especially delicious and beautiful cake. Thank you!

Trina created the most decadent baby shower cake I could have ever asked for, filled with home made lemon curd and white chocolate ganache. My wife and I decided to look for Trina for our wedding cake from word of mouth recommendations and we could not be happier.

I’m personally from a family of bakers, hence I have high requirements for cakes. Although the flavour that we went for was a simple vanilla and red velvet, the sponge was perfectly moist, had a balanced level of sweetness and was super delicious overall, exceeding my expectations.

Trina’s service did not end at delivering the cake but also had very specific instructions on how to handle it up till the wedding day.

We have also received several compliments from guests on how tasty the cake was. If there’s anything that was perfect at the wedding, it was definitely the cake.

I ordered a mini Christmas medovik and a cookie box from Sunset Cakery for a Christmas party. The medovik was a hit, and although it was only meant for 1-4 people, we shared it with about 10 people so everyone could have a taste. Everyone loved the flavours in it and one guest said it was the best medovik cake they had tasted. The cookie box was a wonderful surprise, each cookie had a different flavour, texture and personality and it was so much fun trying each one and trying to match them with the descriptions.
You can feel the love and care that went into making each cookie and the cake, and I’m so glad I took a chance on ordering after seeing Trina’s Instagram and google reviews. Last but not least, Trina was a delight to communicate with, she was prompt in her replies and always happy and bright and willing to work with any requests or suggestions. Thank you so much!! 😊

The best-tasting cakes ever, we had one for my Aunty's 70th and each slice was better than a restaurant-quality dessert.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sunset Cakery's Medovik Honey Cake...so much so, that I've decided to leave a positive review.

Initially, I was wary about purchasing a cake that had the word "honey" in its title and I assumed it would be far too sweet for my taste. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. I found that the tartness (from the cream cheese, I think?) and the spices served to balance out the sweetness of the honey. It's worth mentioning that the spices were not overpowering or too cloying, either.

What I liked most, however, was the texture. It reminded me of a cheesecake, but slightly lighter.

I think this cake is particularly well-suited to people who don't like their desserts to be sickly sweet, or who have more or a savoury tooth in general.

It's small enough to make a good Xmas gift for friends. I'm going back for more.

I contacted Trina, as I wanted a nice and delicious cake for my Daughter's 2nd bday. The whole process was easy and quite a lovely interaction. Trina was prompt and super friendly. I ordered the luscious lemon flavoured cake and sent her the birthday invitation and asked her to use the colours on there as inspiration. The birthday theme was secret garden and I also told her I'd love some flowers on the cake. I had an idea in mind, and explained it to her and what she came to me with on the day of my daughter's birthday, was beyond what I had imagined. My jaw dropped as soon as I saw it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful, it also tasted DELICIOUS!! All the guest were in awe of this cake and everybody couldnt wait to eat it. Once they tasted it, they had to ask for more! All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH Trina for your amazing cake, for being so lovely and friendly and so easy to talk to, and also for making my Daughter's birthday extra special with that wonderful cake and your special personal touches you added. Its always so hard to find a cake that looks and to also taste nice, so I wouldnt bother going anywhere else. You've found the best! Expect to hear from me everytime I have a special event. Fantastic carrot cake. So moist and fresh. Beautifully decorated. Also knowing the ingredients are organic is a bonus. Katrina did a brilliant job!

I ordered a taster box in Feb 2022 and I have to honestly say that Trina’s cakes are the best I have tasted in my life. They are to die for. She is a very talented lady and a lovely soul too. You can taste the effort and love she puts into her cakes . You must try them!

The cakes at Sunset Cakery are stunningly amazing in terms of flavour and decoration. I have tried a variation of the taster box, and my favourite cake was the Teh Tarik cake - tastes exactly like the tea itself!
I highly recommend Sunset Cakery for their cakes. Trina, the head baker, sources the best and fresh ingredients, and even dehydrates flowers and fruits for the cake decorations! Her cakes will not disappoint and instead will hit the sweet spot!

Sunset Cakery cakes are really unique and the flavours and combinations that Trina come up with are just brilliant!

Her French basque rum & raisin cheesecake with salted dulce de leche (Argentinean caramel) is wonderfully smooth and unique. This was an excitingly delightful flavour combination with the salted dulce de leche beautifully paired with strong notes of rum and raisin. Each bite leaving your mouth watering and asking for more.

I also tasted her Granduja brownies with Valhrona french dark chocolate. Moist, rich and delicious. Perfect consistency with delectable dark chocolate throughout. A chocolate lover’s dream. Everything you look for in a high quality chocolate brownie.

This wonderful bakery not only has the most divine cakes in all of Sydney - delicious and moist ! - she also donates some to our local charity ! It gives our young people who are facing challenging times to experience delicious cakes. Very kind !

I finally had the chance to order Medovik (Russian honey cake) for my husband's birthday - we LOVE IT! It's a honey cake monster's dream. The description on Sunset Cakery's website / instagram describes it perfectly: "if freshly-baked gingerbread, biscoff cookies, and salted caramel ice cream had a cake baby". Each bite is pure bliss and I'll be sad when the last slice is finished. 10/10 would order again ♡ ♡ ♡
