Woolworths Metro Randwick

Small but somehow has as much as a large Woolworths.
Convenient car park albeit a bit dated.
Very central to the locals. Usually bustling.

Is pretty good, for a Woolworths Metro, it is pretty big. It feels like a normal one.

But always crowded.

A much better and more modern layout after the refit during peak covid (April). I appreciate the Scan&Go app being used and have never had an issue with produce quality. Special shout out to the tall bearded worker on register who is friendly and always makes shopping a more pleasant experience. Good on you mate.

Love getting a free chai latte here for spending more than $30

I was in the Randwick store, Wednesday 19th February. Waiting in the queue for cigarettes, the customer in front of me, who incidentally had 2 young kids in tow, asked the pleasant young girl serving, for his cigs.
As she rang them up he threw his money on the counter and looked to the side.
She gave him his change. No eye contact or thank you from him and off he went.
The cashier with a pleasant smile said hello.. how can I help you.
My first words were dirty rude b..... She just shrugged, smiled and touched her Hijab.
That young girl conducted herself in an incredibly mature way in the face of a lowlife.
Wish her all the best in the future.

It's a good woolworths. Aisle is medium sized. So when people are in it with trolleys it seems a bit crammed. Some staff are nice however u dont really interact with them coz everything is self serve. Heaps of self serve check out which is good.

I am moving apartments and stopped in to see if they had extra boxes. They bent over backwards to try and help me out! They were so kind and did not have to be. I really appreciate their level of customer service!

Great fresh food and good selection- almost got most things you need for common day to day issue from food to medicine to cookware, and in such a small shop? Amazing. Can shop efficiently as get things a lot faster. Like the healthy food range. Good cheese selection even. The Woolworths range are usually quite good quality not like coles, iga is impossible but I guess they are cheaper in comparison. It’s a trade off.

Very busy - Variety of shops, food mall in a small complex makes COVID 19 a challenge. Gym workout, groceries shopping and a quick take away all in one shopping complex (time saving!)!👍

One of the best woolies I've ever visited, has heaps of stuff you need and are currently renovating to add more, this is my go to. Much better than coles. The only downside is that they have less stuff but they're fixing that now. N.1 woolies, would recommend

Just six words to start off. The biggest woolworths I have seen. This place has everything. From free fruit for kids to bleach. (cause bleach is an opposite to kids fruits...) The prices are reasonable and the staff are very helpful. Discounts on bread at 7pm are the best though. (cause feeding birds at centennial Park is fun.) The place is neat and is easily accessible as it is on the first floor of Randwick shopping center. One of the best Woolworths's that I have been to.

Had great service, the team gave me an extra discovery garden seedling and I also enjoyed a free coffee for spending over $30 👌🏼

Woolworth stores should have mobil restaurants and help the poor eat 5 star lifestyle every day ,be great this summer ,employment for more apprenticeship of tomorrow's nutritional human health care, stronger people in our country.

Just wanted to say a sincere thankyou to the lady who was extremely helpful in rearranging click and collect times to fit in with changed isolation requirements.

Woolies sends through clear discount messages and keeps its customers updated. The friendly staff in Randwick woolies are very helpful too. The store in Randwick is a bit small though.

Like all wollies this is also a regular stop over for most of the residents. For semi cooked options to all other ingredients, all other domestic needs can be fulfilled here.
