Really great team. I've had my two cats who both have recurring health issues treated by Dr Abi, Dr Tom and Dr Darren and couldn't be happier. Despite being a really busy practice all three have shown great care, patience, and empathy during each of our visits.

I've brought my birds here multiple times and the vets were really wonderful and caring. They explained everything in great detail and the prices were reasonably cheap.

Also shout out to the wonderful nurses as well. They make the experience even better.

Very caring and skilled veterinarians

The staff at Sutherland Veterinary Clinic are very kind. My father is elderly and when we presented to the clinic with his extremely unwell little dog, Rove, they could see how upsetting it was for him and were very understanding. Unfortunately Rove passed away and my father was sobbing his heart out... I looked around at the staff, they were crying too😢 they really care about the pets and the owners. We were also able to arrange for Rove's ashes to be put into a beautiful urn🥰

The only vet I trust. Darren and vet nurse zahra are the most amazing people who care so much about our pet. Zahra had gone out of her way to give so much advice to us and Darren is a really wonderful caring vet. Highly recommend

But I love every staff member of this place like they are family. The care and service they have given and still give to our our babies is truely remarkable.
Especially to my boy Buster. Darren and the entire team deserve medals for their service. I cannot recommend them enough.

Sutherland vet were superb as they helped us say goodbye to our beloved family dog. Advice was clear, empathetic and honest , and we were able to be seen that evening. There was no bill shock, and all possible expenses were communicated ahead of time, including options for return. All staff were professional, caring and empathetic. Tom gave us a brief professional assessment confirming we had made the right decision and treated Lexie with great care as he eased her passing. I would strongly recommend this practice.

The most genuine and above & beyond service I have ever received from a Vet Clinic! A huge special shout out to Zara. Today, I saw a Minor Bird in distress and struggling in Sutherland. (Couldn’t fly or walk properly) I knew I couldn’t leave him as he wouldn’t have survived for very long in the wild. I called Sutherland Vets to ask if I could bring him in - to which they said of course! I then proceeded to ask if I could come and get a towel from them as I had nothing on me to catch the bird. The kind lady on the phone (who I think is named Zara) then asked where I was - she then said she will come to where I am and catch the bird. I waited, and Zara came with a towel and caught the bird. I want to express my gratitude and thanks to you Zara, this was truly such a kind gesture of you and one that I will never forget! I have taken many birds/animals whom are injured to vets in the past and never has a vet clinic been so enthusiastic to help the distressed animal and never have I had one offer to come and help catch the animal!! It just shows that this clinic and the staff truly & genuinely care about all animals, even the lovely minor birds! I’m so thankful, and what you did today has really stuck with me. Thank you so so much for helping. Incredible service - & it has really warmed my heart that you and the clinic deeply care to help our wildlife too. Cannot express my gratitude and respect for you enough!

Second visit today, the staff are lovely. The vet has communicated wonderfully. This has helped me greatly understand what's ahead for my 17 year old cat. Changing vets after so long felt a little daunting, but I know now I certainly made the right decision.

Amazing service and a very deep level of care for your pet. I love how they take the time with you and your pet at each visit. I’ve never felt anything but completely valued here. They love your pet as much as you do.

They are so friendly and the bill is always reasonable. I've never had any issues in the six years I've been using them. Very smart vet practise.

I've been taking my dog to Sutherland Vet for boarding & treatment, for over 4 years now. Otis at 17 years old, passed away today (26/2/2022). The team was so very gentle, kind and caring. They explained everything - it was all so peaceful and calm.. They are efficient, friendly, patient & helpful - respect all the pets - they're also respectful of the owners too. Otis sometimes would sit outside just so he could go in and say hello, weigh himself, get some treats and also their attention.
Everyone working there at Sutherland Vet is very gentle and caring.

I highly recommend them.

Such a great experience. Our pup really enjoyed her visit!

This is the best vet in the Shire! Darren was so knowledgeable, kind and very thorough when I took my cat (Wilbur) in for an ear infection. Even when my cat was being difficult with taking the prescribed medications, he called out of business hours to check on him and provide alternative meds. Super happy with my experience and will be bringing the whole fur-family there.
