BreakFree Alexandra Headland Beach

Couldn,t be more happier. Location good across from the beach. Hotel Swimming pool,(s) with one warm and spa as well. Room was comfortable. Setting just right. Will be going there again. Nice restful break. Good for kids as playroom and playground for the younger kids and of course pools and slides!! If you like pizza the pizza 24/7 at the entrance, seriously so good with large helping and reasonable cost.... Yummy.

This is a fantastic resort for families. The pools are an absolute delight and 1 is heated, not just a little bit, but properly heated. The kids would find this a dream holiday resort. It is a bit dated, but is clean and tidy. I would definitely come back with my grandchildren but not if I was coming on a romantic weekend with my husband.

We'll be visiting here again and again.
We're only based 50min down the road but the lagoon and pool was worth the cost.

The staff are incredible- so friendly and nice (that’s all staff from reception to the grounds keepers to the cleaners).
The pools are fantastic for all ages.
Yeah the rooms are older but for the price you pay they are reasonable :)

The location, staff and facilities are amazing. Nothing is a hassle to all the team who work here. The beach is across the road and there are food shops at your door. The Alex surf club is across the road and a great coffee shop, everything you need for a great holiday. The studio rooms are perfect.

Rooms are very basic, but its no big deal, everything else is great, warm pools in the winter were perfect, beach is just across the road, and so many food choices along the road our front. Will be coming back next time.

Just returned from here and can absolutely say it is the best resort for families with children we’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are huge with a balcony(nice view but not sea, hey we paid $140 night!)full kitchen facilities ect, big bathroom and sleeping area. Resort is huge but clean and well manicured and not noisy at all at night. The pool is the biggest I’ve ever seen, amazing! with slide and covered childrens playground, BBQ ect. Beach is right out front with bus every few minutes to sunshine plaza and the Surf club opposite. Reception is 24 hr and after sitting there for short time(waiting for a slow partner) observed the two people working there to go out of their way to help everyone.

Great location, amazing pool facilities, very family friendly, but book really far in advance if you want a swim up room in a school holiday period. We didn't have one of those.

The apartment we had was small but tidy, however the bed was not my favourite part of the holiday. Although it felt super pillowy and plush when you lay in it, with no squeaky dented springs, I suspect it's a foam mattress with very firm support and a extra plush pillow top. Probably amazing for some but both my husband and I haven been tossing and turning with multiple wake-ups a night trying to get comfortable. The frame is also a dark wood with VERY prominent corners, and unfortunately blends in just perfectly with the dark coloured carpet. I hit my shin/knee so hard I thought I broke my leg the first night, just walking up to the bed. Unfortunately there was no ice in the freezer as both the trays were empty upon arrival (it would be nice if they would fill those up while cleaning). Two days later and my leg is still pretty sore. So far those are my only complaints.

Water pressure was great, showers are large.

Wifi was not included, which I think is pretty lame, but I get it. With streaming services people consume a ton of gigs a day in a resort like this.

Right across from the Alex Heads surf club, the ice cream/dessert shop in the strip in front was great, and for those that like Cold Rock Creamery, that's out front as well.
Nice walk to Mooloolaba beach with a fantastic park for the kids.

Will definitely be back, and I will recommend to my friends with kids for sure!

The pool was the highlight. Absolutely beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous well kept tropical gardens, slides, spas and even a heated pool.
The atmosphere reminds me of a holiday park. Very family friendly, heaps of kids, BBQ areas, games room, playground, activities and more.
The rooms have everything you need, however I feel the cleaning of the rooms requires an extra 10 mins just to ensure some dusting is done. There was thick dust on many items and surfaces in the room. 10 mins with a damp cloth would solve this issue. The beds were comfortable but would have loved a king bed in the main bedroom, there is certainly enough space for one.
The room has some great feature's: the TV swivels so it can be seen from the lounge room or the dining area. The lamps in the bed rooms have a wireless charging base for you to charge your phone or tablet.
I love that the bathrooms have separate shampoo, conditioner & body wash.
Large spacious balcony with a table & chairs, sun lounge and cloths horse.
Great location. Cafe, IGA, takeaway places, eateries, icecream shop and more all on your door step. Directly across from the beach and the room even has some buckets and spades and a boogie board for the kids.
We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Amazing place. The apartment was small. But very clean. But being your own towels for the pool they charge$3 for a tiny towel. plus if you have long hair or thick bring your own hair dryer as the one in the room is very slow. Also if you have trouble climbing the bath/shower is a deep bath and it very hard to get in and out off there isn't a handle to help you either. But everything else amazing. Highly recommended.we paid extra for our own private access to the pool and it's well worth it but if you want privacy I wouldn't do it. Great pool plenty of eateries withing walking distance the beach is 2 mins walk. We will be back.

A really nice place, close to the beach and surf club for dinner. Restaurants out the front and easy parking. Highly recommended with the beautiful wade pool that runs the length of the resort.

What a fantastic place to bring the family. Our room was clean and comfortable. The resort has great location to several great food options. The beach is just across the road and great rock pools only a 5 minute walk. The swimming pools that run the length of the resort was the highlight of the stay.

That really good customer service with a beautiful beach view.

First of all the reception written a greeting card by hand is rarely.

As a Accor all members they provide a welcome drink for me.

Stunning views, awesome friendly helpful staff, relaxed, will be coming back! You will not be disappointed, cafés and restaurants just outside the gate, kids loved the ice cream shop just outside the gate and beach and surf club right across the road, hard to beat!!!

We had a gr8 stay here. Great location with plenty to do and across the road from the beach. The pools and spas are heated for all year round swimming. Great for families or couples. Will definitely stay here again 😊

Great place to stay with family. Pool is awesome with one each end heated for those colder months. Keli in reception was very helpful. Rooms where comfortable and in good condition for their age. Will hopefully returning in the new year. Great location with nearby food, shopping and attractions

Had an amazing time with my family in a swim up pool room! Look forward to staying there again. So relaxing & just cross the road to the beach.

Had a wonderful time at Breakfree Alexandra Headland. We stayed in room 457 and were impressed with the modern decor and quality furnishings and appliances. Good restaurants and cafes close to the unit made it easy to leave the car and walk and when we ate in the unit we were impressed with the quality glassware and crockery. Beds were super comfy and everything we needed was thought of. Would thoroughly recommend staying at Breakfree and requesting unit 457 on the top floor with ocean views! Will book again!

We just spent 10 days at BreakFree Alexandra Headlands. From booking right through until checkout was a wonderful and hassle free experience. The resort itself is amazing and very family friendly. The pools are incredible and the grounds are meticulous. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be frequenting this hotel with any/all future visits.
