The Sebel Maroochydore

We had a lovely long weekend, we could walk to cafes, restaurants and the beach, and our apartment had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, watching the waves and sipping a wine. Everything was clean and working although a couple of furniture items looked a bit dated. Service was outstanding, pool and spa lovely, overall great value for a few days away from the city.

My family enjoyed our 5 day stay at The Sebel 2 bedroom apartment suite in Oct 2023. Upon check in, we were captivated by the beautiful unblocked ocean view and were warmly welcomed with a welcome box of locally made chocs and gifts.
Most amenities were provided and replenished once requested. Check in was quick and easy as the staff was waiting for arrival.
Location was superb and very near to the city centre and shopping malls.
Our telephone was not working and the reception staff - Jacqueline was prompt to send a maintenance staff to our room to replace the phone and ensure the line could be connected.
One area for improvement is to insulate the door and window openings at the front bedroom as the wind seeped through very easily and it was very cold for those sleeping in the front room. The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable in that room too.
Otherwise it was a good stay. Thank you for the hospitality!

We picked The Sebel due to the location of a medical appointment and this ended up just being a bonus. Great location to beach, bus stops, restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. My young son had an incident while staying there and the staff were beyond helpful and checked in with us multiple times during our stay and after. Highly recommended.

We stayed on level 2, family of 6 with 4 children and we could not vault the hotel. Level two was convenient for us with children as the pool was the same level and we could access this from our private balcony. Location of the hotel itself was great with a small walk accross the road to the beach
Cafes, eateries and supermarkets were in walking distance, or for some a very short drive. We loved our stay at Sebel Maroochydore.

We stayed one night on Tuesday to have a night away from work and stress. It’s been a fabulous stay and wished we could stay for longer. We had a 2 bedroom on a higher floor with the best ocean view that you could ever asked for. Very spacious and well-equipped apartment with a well-appointed balcony. You can literally see the ocean from living room, bedrooms and the bath. Fauve was very lovely, it’s a smooth and quick check-in with sufficient information and we really appreciate the complimentary upgrade. Thank you for making my first trip to Maroochydore so enjoyable, I have recommended your hotel to my friends and we will definitely be back.

Conveniently located 5 minutes from Sunshine Plaza, 2 minutes walk to the beach, Delicious pizza shop outside. Apartment had everything we needed including cleaning and toiletry supplies, with two living areas it was perfectly spacious for our family getaway. Beautiful views of the beach!

We recently stayed at The Sebel Maroochydore and we couldn't recommend it more!
We were there for 5 nights and easily could have stayed another 5 nights. Super impressed with the location and service, in particular the Manager Fauve. Fantastic, helpful service. Absolutely will be booking again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was located on the 8th floor with great ocean views.
Very large lounge area and outdoor patio area overlooking the ocean. They are plenty of cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance of the Sebel.

Very relaxing stay with a lovely view of the ocean. Large selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. Short walk to Sunshine Plaza shopping centre.

Spacious, clean & well appointed apartments. 2 minute stroll to the beach. Great pool.

We booked a last minute stay and felt privileged to stay in a top level 2 bedroom unit with fantastic view over Maroochydore, the beach and the river mouth. The unit itself was very spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed the roof top BBQ area and heated spa, as well as the three resort pools/spa on level 2. Wish we were staying for longer.

We've had a lovely 14 night stay with Sebel Maroochydore. The views are absolutely spectacular. Thank you to the management staff and maintenance man Mark for their kindness & prompt help when we were locked out of our room. The amenities are great too. We'll be back again👍

Staff were friendly, and the property is easy to access and centrally located on the Sunshine coast

I’m a platinum member with Accor so my experience will be a little different to most. Arrived early but was given access to my suite. I was upgraded to an ocean view suite. Welcome drink for my wife and I was a bottle of sparkling wine. Staff were superb as always. Rooms are lovely and well appointed.

Apartment had awesome seaviews, family loved the large rooms. Awesome location, near the beach, mcdonald's is just downstairs - handy for quick breakfast or snack.

Highly recommended and would return for holiday stay again. Free parking available at basement.

Great place to stay, fantastic position with beautiful views. Easy no drama check in, clean room...only small complaint was the flashing smoke alarm directly outside window of second bedroom....annoying when trying to sleep

Great position, lovely ocean views. All necessary places close to eat eat etc. Beautiful, comfortable room with a ounce and kitchen, spa too. Will stay there again. The staff were accomadating

VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS!!!!
We were in a two bedroom apartment on the ninth floor and we had views for miles both north east and north west. The apartment was actually quite spacious and the balcony has a glass railings, offering visual visibility even when seated at the table. Our apartment came with a bathroom and ensuite and the kitchen had quite a lot of storage. The only downside would be the traffic noise when you are sitting out on the balcony.
It has a huge pool downstairs on level two, and a rooftop area with a spa and barbecue on level 14. However on the rooftop terrace you don’t get much of a view, and you have to walk up the fire stairs to get there. In terms of access accessibility for wheelchairs, it could be a little difficult with the way the doors open and unless you had someone to help you, it would not be the most ideal situation.
The foyer offers DVDs and books to read, and is clean and the building well maintained. Could highly recommend for the positioning of the salons, cafes, restaurants, and easy access to transport which is at your door.

Large apartment-style rooms, not like your average hotel. Room had 2 locked doors, assumed to be an additional bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen includes large fridge, oven, stove and microwave with a suitable selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking paraphernalia. Main bedroom shares balcony access with the lounge. Kitchen table seats six. There's a table setting for four on the balcony. Laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Bathroom includes spa bath and double basins. Lots of storage space throughout.

Staff are friendly. Large selection of (assumed complimentary) DVD's at reception if the local tv isn't enough for you.

Small coffee shop downstairs and a McDonald's next door. Close to the beach as well.
