Ramada by Wyndham Marcoola Beach

I recently stayed at the Ramada at on the Sunshine Coast and had an amazing experience. We upgraded from a one-room studio to a double room, and it was simply fantastic. The service from the customer service team at the front desk was exceptional. Rob, in particular, did an unreal job. He explained everything to us and made us feel welcome upon arrival. I haven't experienced service like this in some five-star hotels in Brisbane. Top-notch service all around. Highly recommend!

Booked this hotel not long before coming up to the Sunshine Coast with no expectations on what it would be like. And honestly you’re better off staying here than some of the other more pricey hotels. The staff are Excellent and super friendly and knowledgeable! No room is bad, we had quite a small room and were surprised that we had an outdoor space and access to all other parts of the resort. Not to mention the beach access, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just had a facial at the Soul Ocean Spa at the Ramada in Marcoola. Beautifully calm ambiance, clean and light scents, and then the most heavenly treatment from Kirsten. A treatment which included a refreshing deep massage of neck, arms, shoulders and head. Completely divine. I floated out of there, and then booked hubby in for a facial. Want him to feel how glorious it is to get pampered. 🧡

Extremely happy with the service by the front desk. Aimee and Angel were so understanding and helpful in making our stay easy and delightful. Angel has been great in offering us to change the rooms as there were issues with our previously booked room. Can't wait to come here again.

Our Jetstar flight was cancelled and we had the unexpected PLEASURE of being booked into the Ramada. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with views over the pool and the ocean, absolutely perfect for a family with children. The bathroom amenities had everything you would expect, as well as a seperate in room laundry. The pool area was perfect for both adults and children, 2 pools. Direct access onto the beach, with a children's play area and cycle walking track on the other side of the pool fence. Fantastic coffee shops across the road as well as a lovely bakery. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

Marcoola is an amazing place to stay and our latest visit to the Ramada only complimented that. Service was amazing and friendly. Restaurant /bar just as good as we remembered with staff going above and beyond for us. Will definitely be back again.

Family holiday with 3 kids. Great location. Bike paths up to coolum and down to Maroochydore River kept us busy. Massive pool and tavern was a good place to chill out post beach swim/surf. E;bike's kept breaking down and seemed to be just left to a part timer to fix, which was unfortunate but staff were friendly and has all the local amenities to create a great holiday.

Two Room apartment was clean cosy and great views at the ground floor, as you go up they must get better. Only thing wad Need take away better knife and forks. Was fantastic walking out the sliding door on to the street,felt like I had a private Vila. Thanks,

Loved staying here! Room was lovely, clean and spacious. All the staff we encountered were lovely, accomodating and went above and beyond. The pool was so nice and I loved how quiet it was compared to neighbouring towns.
We will definitely be back with the kids!

We had the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with a great view of both ocean and hinterland.

We visited for our anniversary and were greeted with a surprise gift in our ocean view room. It's a lovely spot on the ocean with a heated pool and friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean and cosy. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

I stayed overnight on our way up north. Great location. I will be back again soon.

Loved the room.the view.walking onto the beach. Swimming in the pool.Catching bus outside to Maroochydore and then up to Noosa on a go exploret day pass .Not far from Montville.Ticked all boxes.

Had our flight cancelled and couldn't find anywhere to stay. Finally tried the Ramada and the girl on the phone was absolutely fantastic! She found us a room, got us all booked in and made a very stressful day alot easier. Check in was quick and simple (we even got upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment). The room was beautiful, clean, had everything you needed. Pool area is stunning and even had a separate shallow kids pool. Restaurant was great, food was super yummy. Shop to hire bikes, pool stuff, surfboards is a real stand out for this resort. Beach access is perfect.

Overall complex is great, site restaurant is nice and their are a few cafe shops and a 7/11 across the road.
Apartments are well appointed and hotel rooms fit for purpose with comfortable beds but painting is getting a bit tired.

The staff at reception and also in the restaurant are all fantastic. The rooms are clean and well equipped to cater for families. We booked a two bedroom apartment and even though it's not officially an ocean view (3404) we did have a partial view and there was new carpet and flooring that gave it a modern feel. Kitchen was adequate to cook some basic meals. Bed was mattress unfortunately was hard as a rock however the kids beds were super comfortable. Pool is large and heated, they could use some more chairs and tables with shade as some guests will put two towels on them and walk away for hours without using them... selfish guests but you snooze you loose! Funny watching guests hiding around the pool from the sun to avoid getting roasted. Still not a reason to give a low score as this if the normal at most hotels and it is 4 star so it easily meets that standard Definitely need more cover for kids. A few small things could make a difference eg a pillow menu, a better equipped gym, breakfast 7 days a week not 5 and room service. Get to the pool early and don't leave until you are done for the day. Great dinner options at the hotels restaurant Surfair, The Loose Goose and many more .
