St Clair Library

I needed a printer asap and i was praying that there would be a printer in the library and Thankfully there was! It cost 25c for each paper if its photocopy but $1 each if its just printing with gmail. The staff was so sweet and kind. The library is wide and quiet and the wifi is better than before. Its a perfect place

Staff are always very lovely and helpful! Everything is clean and well-kept, though due for a bit of an upgrade soon! I’ve never seen it overly loud, even on busy days, so it’s a perfect spot for quiet study.
A better use of the space would be providing more individual study tables for students and tutors to use instead of so many very old and not always functional PCs taking up all the room.

I'm giving 5 stars for the service. The guys at the counter are so friendly and helpful. Always ready to help. I wish they had more children board books.

Great work by the staff to find the book I found accidentally in their catalogue, before it suddenly disappeared from the catalogue. One minute there are two copies available, then none?
Catalogue sorting is very poor.
Showed two copies available at two branches but could not be found on the branch computer when I rang to check the book was on the shelf, at both branches. Not listed I was advised but I just saw it listed. Correct title and author but no success. Physically the Librarian checked some shelves at one of the branches and bingo there it is! Seems some parts of the title were not quite the same? Author and title should be sufficient surely with minimal cross checking say.
Catalogue needs some very serious improving.
Catalogue listing...rated 1/5, if that.
Just goes to show that a physical search works so much better.

Its alright, although I do recommend that they stock more books, fix up the wifi so thats its faster, completely restock the childrens because most of them are worn down and old and they should definitely buy more computers for the public to use. Apart from everything above, this place is ok, its never too crowded, so its usually quiet, and its pretty neat.

Tired but practically equiped space. Free wifi is functional. A nice selection of books for a small space.

My Experiences at St Clair Library are:

* The staff are very helpful
* Very busy with the Shopping Centre
* Need to be upgrading.

Rang and asked about if there is a recycling bin for used batteries, bulbs etc but the librarian was not sure and also was doing another thing at the same time as gaps spoken
