2 years later, after 3 years of going here, I update this review to say... Same great food. Same awesome staff. Prices still good. Food still great.

3 years later now... No change to my opinion. Literally updating this because I'm about to order takeaway.

The best in Maitland. The shop name is correct and it is authentic Chinese food prepared by man who can honestly use the "Chinese Restaurant" title, no trickery here. Much nicer that restaurants claiming to be Chinese but are some diverse Asian horrible food that we have had pushed at us since 1970, Chinese takeaway used to be very contestant from restaurant to restaurant pre 1970 because it was Chinese food as we knew it.

Beautiful Chinese food. Great friendly service. Affordable for families. Lunch special only $9.80. Don't be fooled by the look of the restaurant, it may be old but the food is cooked fresh while you wait. Main meals under $20. And the have great meal specials. Not many restaurants where you can feed a family for under $40 with quality food with fresh vegetables. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Needed to find a great Chinese again and we did! Honey chicken was delicious, served separately to the sauce so was still crunchy. The Mongolian beef was super fresh and the fried rice had flavour, finally!!! We will return, thank you

Had Chinese at a friend's house & apparently this is where they got it from. I don't know what the shop looks like or what the service is like, but the food is wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!!

7/5 been looking for a replacement since sing hung shut down however if I had of known about this place we would have had to flip a coin to decide where to go. Fried rice is nice and sticky and not soggy. The honey chicken and Peking steak are crispy.
Pricing was awesome, they have a lunch time special which is also available at dinner. it is very well priced, we will be back.

Thankyou Wan Li, we ordered takeaway tonight, 30.12.22. we chose you over going to the pub for dinner, and you didn't dissapoint. Dinner was beautiful.
Food was absolutely perfect and such big serves, we have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
Short soup, prawn cocktails, prawn fritters with plum sauce, Mongolian beef, chicken Chow mein, king prawns and veg,and omelette.
A really good feed and very good prices.

My family were driving around trying to look for some chinese food. The shop wasn't opened yet but on google it said 24hrs so we rang the number on the door to see what time they opened the owner rang us back and said that they open today at 4.45pm Sunday. But he would cook our food now if we wanted to order so we turned around and drove back to the shop. The food was cooked fast and the quality was awesome 10 stars hands down.
Very happy customers. We will be returning.

This is my go to Chinese in the maitland area. Have been coming here for years. The owners are wonderful and always go the extra step. You ask for something modified like extra hot you bet your gonna get it hot.

Ordered takeaway tonight, absolutely delicious, best Chinese meal we have had in ages. Honey chicken was perfect, king prawns and veg perfect, chicken chowmein fantastic, fried rice delicious, thankyou Wan Li, we will definately be returning. Good price, good service and really good food.👏👏👏

Great. The honey chicken is my favourite it is served separately from the sauce (take away) meaning it doesn't get soggy. The chicken is really well cooked.

Order at least once a month, over the past 18mths - Never a bad meal.
Fresh, tasty & always hot. Never a long wait.
