Mandarin Palace Chinese Restaurant Lismore

Bravely open again after the biggest flood in Lismore’s history… the food was just brilliant. Took home a doggie bag as there was plenty and had it for dinner the next night. Young ladies serving lacked a little experience, but were enthusiastic. I dined in with few others. A lot of people getting takeout. As you’d expect, the vib is still a bit somber after what Lismore has been through. Food was a little slow coming out but not excessively so. It is licensed. With a small variety of beer wine and soft drinks.

Highly recommended by a friend born and bred in the northern rivers, and lived up to the recommendation plus some.
Excellent food and reasonably priced with generous servings.
The special fried rice is up there with the best of them; the Chinese roast duck is second to none, and the BBQ Pork with plum sauce was perfect. Not to mention the Korean style chicken wings. A regular feast…….
Our only regret is that we didn’t discover this place sooner.

Support a local business hit hard by the 2022 floods

I take my son here for dinner as a treat often. The staff are great, the owners are welcoming, the food is always delicious. It's clean and tidy. My son and I both look forward to it each and every time and we have never been disappointed.

I've been in the area 5 weeks and got takeaway 3 times and dined in once, so you could say I really like it!!!

Mother’s Day evening our family got Chinese for dinner they where super busy but didn’t looked stressed with all the people coming through the doors. When I got my food it was piping hot and smelt amazing. They apologised for being late with my order. When I got home and open the containers and started eating my food it was still very hot. They Quality food was outstanding and this is why I’m giving it 5 out of 5. I couldn’t fault anything about the food. Highly recommend best Chinese in Lismore. :)

This place brought back great memories from my childhood. Good old fashioned Chinese food with that old school atmosphere. The night we attended the restaurant it was at full capacity however that did not downgrade the service or quality of food. The staff were extremely busy but very attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional! Great flavours and very fresh! Will definitely be eating here again next time I’m in Lismore!!

We were up from Sydney and visited there for dinner. The food was fantastic, in particular the satay lamb.
The service was excellent. Thank you Mandarin Palace for an excellent meal. We highly recommend A+++

Firstly, you notice the friendly staff and great atmosphere. Then the service is quick and the meals are perfect. Very reasonable prices and covid safe. Great work Team.🥰🌱

Just passing through town from Brisbane and found this little gem.
It's was like walking back into our local Chinese restaurant of the 1980s with the original decor it was fantastic and very clean.
The girls on the front counter and serving were lovely and quick for drinks and orders.
The food was also fantastic with good size portions.
We got in early to what turned out to be a busy Saturday night there, it must be very popular with the locals.
Make sure you book as there was party after party getting turned away with out bookings...
