My friend and daughter and I had the lovliest meal at your restaurant today. We chose to have a 4 course meal and every dish was so tasty. The staff were all lovely but special mention to Jacqui.

Our waitress was fantastic and got the blend right between attentive service and allowing us to enjoy the meal and our afternoon. We had an elderly person with mobility issues in our party and the staff were very accommodating. I would highly recommend the tasting menu which is delicious and comes out at the right pace. At no point did we feel rushed. Alongside the tasting menu I would also suggest that you get a taxi and enjoy the wine pairings (I had to drive so was very disappointed as the range of wines went down very well with my partner and her family). All in all I would thoroughly recommend !

Outstanding lunch experience on the verandah at Skillogalee - I cannot fault the food, wine or service. Each dish was creative, delicious and perfectly executed, and the service was friendly and highly competent. The view and atmosphere was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and I hope to return the next time I’m in South Australia. Will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you!

Wonderful food - we had the long lunch tasting set menu at $65ph. Four inventive courses - bread, olives & ricotta cheese with honey (delicious) - kale and mint risotto - roasted pumpkin - lamb shoulder with mint/parsley salad and potatoes and we bought a bottle of the winery's sparkling for $40. Plenty to eat and a nice drop to pair it with. Our waiter Rico (from Cambodia) was excellent, attentive, helpful and funny! Well worth a long lunch!

This is our second time visiting South Australia from QLD and this place is one of our absolute favourites. We did a wine tasting on our bike tour on Friday and decided we HAD to come back for lunch on our way back from the Eyre Peninsula on the Sunday. It was not only one of our best lunches in Clare but anywhere, ever. The service was great and view from our outside table was majestic.

We had the feed me menu and sat under the olive tree. The food was delicious, the setting was gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. Put it on your must do in Clare Valley.

My partner and I came for lunch and had the four-course shared experience. WOW! Each dish surpassed the previous and we were astonished at how the chef did that. The wines were exquisite and we took a couple of bottles of KT Pinot Gris back home with us.

Jacqui (sp?) our waitress was equal parts informative, funny and personable. We will most definitely be back again!

I’ve stayed a lot of places with my family but this has got to be by far my favourite. the service is so nice drinks and food are amazing everyone is so nice there you feel at home would 100% recommend anyone and everyone to stay here you won’t regret it.

9/10 food. Excellent value 4 course degustation. Fantastic service and immaculate wines. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous establishment! We unfortunately didn’t make a booking for lunch on a Friday sand the restaurant was booked out, but… it did not impede on our wonderful visit for wine tasting!
Sophie made us feel extremely welcome, the last table was outside, but nothing but a few offered warm blankets didn’t fix, the tasting was amazing, the service impeccable and the experience well worth the 5 stars we rate this winery! Next time we’ll book for lunch.

Absolutely wonderful. We had the 3 stage Long Lunch which is the chefs choice and it was all delicious. The wine, we had sparkling Shiraz and reisling, was superb. The whole place has such a calm and relaxed vibe and the waitress was so lovely. We drove almost 2hrs to have lunch here today and it was totally worth it!
Also, the fig sorbet was the best ice cream I’ve ever had!!!

What a beautiful set of dishes that were served. I could literally just have the sashimi as entree, main and dessert. We were lucky enough to be sat outside on such a wonderful day. I'd love to come back and try the 5 course "feed me" option.

Tasting menu - chef selection degustation lived up to expectations. A delightful gastronomy experience hidden amidst the Clare Valley. Appreciated by locals and a place to revisit for visitors to the region!

Absolutely superb charcuterie plate (best ever) and steak tartare (was delicious). Brilliant wines.
