Five for the service! Hilary was so warm and welcoming and had the most engaging and lovely smile! We really enjoyed our tasting today and appreciated that our doggos were allowed inside with us (as no one was eating) . Welcome relief from the cold. Nice wines too! Thanks Hilary!

Visited Mitchell as part of a small group tour heading for the Flinders Ranges. We tasted a total of 12 wines in a lovely tasting room and hosted by Edwina. She provided us with a great insight into the various wines, all of which were of very high quality. Our favourite was the 2012 McNichol Riesling. If you are looking for a small winery experience in the Clare valley, we could recommend Mitchell is worth a stop at.

Absolutely lovely wines (best Reisling I have ever had). Fantastic staff and good cheesy options for mulling your wine purchases.

Came on the recommendation of Vinomofo and was one of the best vineyards I visited on my holiday. Thoroughly recommend to anyone considering it.

Mitchell Wines was a wonderful experience. Personalised service from Jane, great knowledge, beautiful wines, dog friendly and enjoyed a cheese platter in the autumn sun with aged Riesling and Shiraz. Will be back !

Some divine intervention made us stop at Mitchell's on Easter Monday instead of our planned winery slightly further on. We had the most glorious experience. Caring family run winery staff going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we needed. We enjoyed glasses of wine not previously tried and a very tasty cheese platter Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

When ever l have been to Clare l always go to Mitchell Wines to buy my absolute favourite Shiraz - Mitchell's Pepper Tree Shiraz. Plus pick up a special bottle or 2 to give as presents

I like this winery a lot. We arrived on e-bikes and it was obvious we were not there to buy wine. This place is very layed back, and exactly what we were looking for. Although out of some of the ingredients that make up their usual cheese board, Hillary just offered us a discount to make up for it.
I have not been served by someone this relaxed since I bought a pizza in Nimbin. I love that.
My wife obviously liked the wine because she bought a couple of bottles even though they would need to be carried in a backpack.
I don't know if I should ever go back, because I don't want to risk spoiling the memory.

Best Sparkling Shiraz I've tried! Stunning setting amongst the gum trees on a quiet road, dog friendly outdoor tables and grassy areas. Could easily spend all day here. Great service.

Really enjoyed their cellar door experience and talking to Pam. Love the fact their wine is all dry run, which is one reason why I think their wines are so good.
