We booked a table with ease for 15 people, beautiful hotel, great freindly service, many tasty foods to choose from. I enjoyed Tacos as I wanted a light meal on the day. Very tasty full of avour and just enough. A lovely selection or wine to choose from also. Big thank to everyone for our lovely afternoon. Plenty of parking out back 2.. we will be back with freinds 🙂

We were at the hotel to celebrate our grandsons 30th birthday. Everyone commented on the quality of the food. The staff were great and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely exceptional experience at the Sevenhill Hotel this week. We came with close friends for a birthday and were treated to a special space in the cellar! The atmosphere was awesome, picking our wines straight off the racks. All meals were so delicious, full of flavour and fresh ingredients. The staff were so friendly and accomodating too.
We had the best night and honestly one of the best dinner experiences I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to dine again!

What a find....totally surprised with this lovely pub in Clare Valley. Staff are super friendly and helpful, lovely open fire and great range of traditional pub meals and up market meals. Great atmosphere and beautiful dining rooms 👌

I had the wonderful luck stumbling over this place on Google. So glad I did. The breaded chicken burger I had was absolutely f**king spectacular. The chips were the best I've eaten in ages. Missus loved her mushroom gnocchi. And the local wine. The customer service was above excellent. Especially the lovely young (possibly Italian) lady who served us. Made our experience even better. We will be back most definitely and will bring the kids. Wonderful hidden gem just out of Clare.

Great pub. Dined in cellar surrounded by beautiful wines. Owner has a shuttle bus to get you there and back to your accomodation. Booking essential. Food amazing and staff very friendly and welcoming

Steak and beer was superb. We also had chicken. This was cooked and presented so well, you will appreciate what I am saying when you try it. The puree sweet potatoe was unbeatable. The pub is history, great to see. Very well presented. Staff are some of the best I have seen.

The pork schnitzel was a real winner! Tasty, juicy, well crumbed and perfectly cooked! Cozy and warm venue with friendly staff.
Would skip the venison dumplings and for some reason entrees came out with the main. Overall, nice dining experience all the same

Pork schnitzel was far from ordinary. Tasty, tender, and huge. Mushroom sauce was top rate.
Though I dont like chips under schnitzel, they were still crisp and ever so tasty. Slaw salad with rocket on top was a good side order complement this meal.
Also love the style of pub, great outdoor eating area.

Great friendly service. Happily let us order even though was outside of usual trading hours. Happy positive place. Great food and wine list.

Each year , my family and our group of friends comes to the Clare Valley to enjoy a weekend together. There are usually 35-50 of us. Every single trip, we have come to Sevenhill Hotel for our Friday dinner together.

Sevenhill staff have always been brilliant; professional, patient, friendly, and flexible. The food has always been great, however last night took the cake! It was spectacular . The menu was excellent, the food was tasty, and the produce was excellent (I’m vegetarian and can be picky about freshness ).

To top it off they offer a bus service (11 seater) which picked some of us up from the caravan park and dropped us back after dinner. It was complimentary and took the pressure off the families who didn’t feel like driving at night. Our driver was courteous and professional- a credit to the Sevenhill team.

The owner/s have done a fantastic job with this hotel. They have ensured it has excellent customer service, especially when catering for large groups. They also maintain high quality meals, which can be a struggle for some places when catering for larger groups. Hence, we keep returning!

Food and Service excellent…all the staff were really knowledgeable about the menu and food choices and the service they all provided was excellent including the courtesy bus that picked us up and drove us back to our accommodation after our beautiful meal …however may I suggest that you have a look at organising somewhere to have a drink before dinner - the front bar is warm and toasty in front of the fire however the experience is not so pleasant when you are interrupted by both the language and unwelcome visits to your table by extremely drunk patrons …just a respectful suggestion …a little rattled however quickly gone when the food was so excellent thank you

We were picked up by the courtesy bus from our caravan park and driven to the pub...!! We had a fabulous meal, drinks, outstanding friendly service and the driven home in the courtesy bus. Seriously.... it doesn't get better than that. Delightful friendly service, even Max our Beagle Cross was made to feel welcome. Paul was extremely friendly and personable and truly enhanced our experience. We were recommended to come here for dinner by friends and we were not dissapointed. Lovey courtyard area, prompt service, seriously everything was fabulous. We recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

This was the most amazing night.
Sitting in that beautiful cellar was the start of our atmosphere then enjoyed local Sawmill gin. But wow the steak came out 300 grams Scotch cooked to absolute perfection.
Will definitely be back again on another trip to Clare.

We went for dinner and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is tastefully decorated and air conditioned. We had a drink in the front bar first and then went in and ordered. I ordered a chicken schnitzel with chips and house made coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious. Not something I'd usually order. My partner ordered one of the chef's specials. It was crispy pork belly on stir fried noodles. He really enjoyed his too. When we are in the area again we'll return for another delicious meal.

Food was excellent. One of the best salt and pepper squids I have had. Wine by the glass had us going to a winery that wasn't on our list, wonderful.

Had a great dinner experience at the Seven Hills pub again! Seated in the cellar with the best atmosphere- I would recommend dining in there for sure.
High end pub food and great pricing and service . Topped off by shuttle bus pick up and drop off. Thanks for a great night and see you again.
