I purchased my wedding outfit from here recently and Anjuji truly made a fantastic outfit. We had approached her with a rough sketch of what we wanted and from there, she made the whole piece from scratch. She kept me updated throughout the process and provided me with flexibility regarding patterns, colours, and style etc by checking in regularly. Outfit was made with sufficient time before wedding.

Couldn't speak more highly of my experience with Silk and Sparkle! Through some unfortunate circumstances I only had one month to have my wedding lehenga made after my first purchase from somewhere else fell through. And this was over the Christmas and New Year's period too so we only really had 2.5 weeks! Anju absolutely came to the rescue by agreeing to help out in an incredibly short timeframe and even though I was initially very stressed, the experience ended up being great! Anju constantly kept me informed, shared progress pictures and ran every decision past me. The result was a lehenga I could've only dreamt of and made of outstanding quality! I got a sherwani custom-made for myself from Silk and Sparkle. I didn’t want a gaudy groom outfit but a subtle and muted sherwani something similar to what Ranbir Kapoor wore at his wedding. I could not find what I had in mind anywhere then a family friend recommended Silk and Sparkle, I went to their store and they instantly got want I wanted and delivered my wedding sherwani right on time exactly the way I wanted it to be. Anju is such a professional, I must say. The woman knows her craft and I was so impressed with her service.

I had a great experience with Silk and Sparkle and I would highly recommend to everyone! The clothes were beautiful to look at, of superior quality and they had great construction. They cater to larger sizes (AU 16-18) and can make garments for you too. The owner was very accommodating as my mum and I went in numerous times and tried on many outfits. When we finally selected one, the owner was happy to do alterations and she did so within a week. I went in for fittings twice, and I could tell that the owner not only loved clothes, but she knew what she was talking about, she had a great eye for detail and she understood the larger female form.
