Beefy's Gympie

I love Ned Kelly pies and I score Beefys Ned Kelly 11/10. On my experience it was Perfect in all aspects. Pastry, meat, gravy, cheese n bacon ratio, the egg of course and the fact it all stayed together whilst eating it.

Friendly staff and Amazing pies, haven't eaten a pie like this in a long time big, full and great flavours with a big selections for good value. Great way to break up a long drive.

Best steak and mushroom pie I've ever had, and my work colleague said best curry pie she has had. Then, I went back for the family steak and mushroom pie and Thai green curry pie. 10/10 delicious.

They have billboards along the road saying they are the the best pies in Queensland: after trying them I am forced to conclude they are correct. I had a meat lovers pie and it was great with lots of different meats. I got a value meal and the serving of chips was generous as too was the chicken salt. My partner got an apple turnover which was magnificent. Well worth a stop! Has a bar table and stools if you want a sit down meal.

Saw ad on road towards Gympie and stopped to try it out, as I love pies. It’s been a tradition for me to always check out the pies or fish and chips when entering any new town. You can imagine me over my 20 plus years of transversing across the great Australian Continent, I’ve eaten hundreds and consider myself an expert of all things pie and fish and chips. I had the Certified Angus Steak pie value meal and my family had the curry and other ones but the verdict was unanimous, it was DELICIOUS. On the same category as my best pie to date in Alice Springs, NT. Best fish and chips is still Cooktown, QLD. We all truly enjoyed our pie meals. Please check them out, if on this side of woods.

Great place to stop for a pie. Worth the slight detour if you are heading north. Look out for sign to park on left and walk down to Beefy’s.
We had a steak pie with pea topping and a potato top pie with pea topping. Both pies had good lots of meat in them. The pea topping was very tasty.
If you want to sit down there you will need to sit outside.

What can I say? The best bloody pies out there. Pastry top notch. Pepper pie not too 🔥.. just right but, I need a 🍴 these things are huge. Give them a try you won't regret it 👍

Highly recommend, came in early morning passing through Gympie and the male employee provide amazing, positive customer service read back my order, double checked if I need anything else and even amazing with my added requests. He was also training a new member and provided such a positive learning environment. Shout out to him, sorry I didn't grab your name.

The food that was delicious, I ordered potato top pie with peas and gravy, the pie was fresh, proper meat pieces and not over gelatine texture. The toppings did not disappoint!
I also ordered a signature steak pie with chips and American sauce, they cooked the chips fresh the steak pie is not to be over looked it was delicious!

The iced late - 1shot, I can say their coffee beans are delicious and robust enough that it strong enough without ordering an extra shot and I'm a heavy coffee drinker, highly recommend!

Overall highly recommend, great customer service and the food is delicious.

So much delicious options and the most amazing gluten-free pies and sausage rolls that I truly appreciate as a celiac.

The loaded choices are so much fun and tasty.

The desserts are sumptuous and really cap off a great feed.

They have the best pies. No shortcuts, absolutely full to the brim inside. They have beaut specials at such a cheap price. Always buy our pies from them.

Bought some of their amazing chilled pies to takeaway. Last night we had them for dinner, as usual they didn’t disappoint, YUMMMMM

The loaded steak pie with mash and mushy peas is a meal in itself, wouldn't suggest this pie as a quick bite in the car though 😅. Hubby had the curry and loved it. Haven't had decent pies like these in ages. Eyes were bigger than our bellies so the apple turnovers could not be eaten but will be later.

Best bloody pie in QLD, travelled from Weipa for this and didn’t disapoint. Great customer service from the young fella behind the counter.( hot tip, you get a free pie if you come in just before closing)

I have made the Famous Kirup Pie in Western Australia for years, so I think I am a bit of an expert in the pie department.
Beefys is Awesome!!! Bloody excellent pies... STOP! and try asap. Awesome feed.

Beefys Gympie.. steak pepper pie flaky puff pastery with a firm short base, housing quality beef with a nice filament of gravy " not runny of over loaded" base texture is firm allowing solid bites with base holding firm 8.756/10

Followed with a large serving of chips. I can tell fresh oil has been used to cook chips, potatoe is soft and chip texture is crispy 8.695/10

All followed down with a fresh ice cold ice coffee I can tell fridge temp is on point allowing for no spoiling milks

Beef pies inside good , outside bit flaky, vegetarian garden pie had too much liquid cheese in it , overall must visit

Not just a GF option, AN ENTIRE MENU! I have watched my boyfriend eat endless amounts of pies around the country as we drive our truck, but this was one of the only times I've been able to also experience that joy. The gluten free steak/pepper pie was genuinely the best pie I've ever had, and the HG sausage roll was fantastic too. Neither fell apart or needed sauce to improve the flavour; they were perfect as-is. Can't wait to have my GF apple pie for arvo tea! Thank you for making this little ball of allergies a very happy camper!
