Such a wonderful high tea experience!

From the moment we arrived, the staff member was so accommodating & attentive! He was super friendly and helpful - very willing to modify the options to accommodate our pregnant friend as well as dietary preferences.

The high tea itself was amazing! The scones were the best I've had - such generous portions & so fresh and delicious. Everyone in the group loved them & the best cream ever too! I loved the scones so much, I've ordered some for a family function.

Each item on the high tea was delicious. The menu was a really nice mix of sweet & savoury and the portions were very generous - this isn't just a high tea for the girls. The scotch eggs were cooked perfectly & the lamb croquettes were so tender.

The high tea comes with a fresh, summery Berry & passionfruit sparkling drink in a tea pot (either with gin or virgin) and we all loved it too.

My standout dessert was the Creme Brulee - but they were all great.

This high tea is extremely well priced- both for the quality AND quantity of food.

The staff are lovely & the ambience is great. I would highly recommend & I'll definitely be back. Well done Dove & Shears team! It was outstanding!

An upmarket British pub style restaurant.
Plenty of Gins to try and an nice cocktail list.
I had the Fab Four cocktail and it was yummy, fresh and STRONG.
Food was amazing, all made fresh on site. The soda bread was warm and crusty and came with a delicious butter. Yummmm.
The pastry on the pie with mushy peas is probably the best pastry I’ve ever tasted.
Service was top notch and prices very reasonable. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Dined there recently, and service was great, could not fault it. Our food was delicious, and the steak was the tastiest I've had in a long time. Prices very fair too. We will return.

Inside the Catholic Club in Campbelltown is this great Little restaurant that is a british Gastro pub/Gin Bar fusion, with an Array of unique foods from Seafoods, pastas, guiness Pies and more. There Gin selection is quite good with much to choose from with a good cocktail range.

The food I found quite nice, and quite delicious, with good hospitality and attentive staff, not a huge menu selection but your there for a fun time not a long time I reckon. Go on Fridays and Saturdays as its $1 Oysters!!! With live music after 8pm.

Nice restaurant inside Catholic club at Campbeltown. Although restaurant not very big but have nice setting and warm.
Food fantastic and top notch.
Natural oyster + Kilpatrick oyster good for starting the dinner.
Beef pie nice served with buttery mashed potato and pea mash.
Ocean trout cooked to perfection with crispy skin. Ravioli with burnt butter also exquisite

Nice ambience. Staff are courteous and helpful. Foods are point on. Steaks are cooked to perfection. I found a unicorn here. A long discontinued laphroaig 18.

Great cocktail selection and exceptional service. Food was delicious. I had the pie with mash and it was perfect.

The food and service here was amazing. We both enjoyed our food and cocktails. We'll definitely be back to try more!

We loved the D&S atmosphere, live music, crab meat on Melba toast appertiser, eye fillet with Bearnaise, & awesome cocktails by the fabulous Dino! 👌

Myself, mum and my little boy came tonight for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the food was. And how extremely beautiful the customer service was! The only thing that would top the menu is a Yorkshire pud full time, not a special and garlic bread!
The Guinness pie was really yummy, and the meat melted in my mouth!
And the soda bread with whipped butter, I’ll take 19 please 😆
My mum really enjoyed her fish and chips.
The children size chicken and chips was very generous, we were even offered to take left overs home ❤
The restaurant is big in my opinion and has a warm ambient lighting.
Can’t wait to go back to be honest!

Had a fabulous birthday dinner. “Pub” with 5 star food. 42 different gins to try.

A couple of people on my table, including me, had the ocean trout and all of agreed it was the best meal we’ve ever had. Perfect crispy skin, almost like cracking with a lovely sweet flavour and the flesh was so lovely and moist… I could easily have eaten it with a spoon! And don't be put off by how cheap prices on the menu... I was amazed at how good it was... especially given how affordable everything was. I also had some oysters for one dollar each... before the lovely ocean trout.

we (10 of us) celebrated my sons 22nd birthday there last night 5/11/2022. Initially the menu did not look huge although there were options to suit all of us ( pescatarians included) just not the multiple options we were used too. Well that became a NON issue because our meals were amazing!! The flavour and portion size and presentation were top notch. Quality over quantity. We brought our own birthday cake which they served and even had the singer performing that night to sing happy birthday it was awesome. The staff member (Kurt? Kirk?) was just so lovely from the time he greeted us at the door through table service, cake delivery to the clean up at the end. Could not fault him he was just amazing. All the staff were lovely. I loved the ambience and mood lighting not that glaring light you find in most restaurants. It was so clean and fresh and beautiful furniture and table settings. Myself and my husband had gastric sleeve surgery so we usually order off the childrens menu when we eat out. The waitress checked with the manager who allowed us to do this. Thank you. Otherwise we would've had to split a normal sized plate between us...its nice when we don't have to share :). We had such a great night that I forgot to take photos of our delicious food. Trust me it was all amazing.

We were a group of 17 and Jess our waitress was very helpful and obliging, especially with the children. The food was very nice and the service excellent.

Went to the Dove and Shear at Campbelltown Catholic Club. The food we learnt was local. The presentation and freshness was top quality, and absolutely delicious!! The Brokenwood Wine complemented the meal beautifully. The service was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed our night.. Definitely recommend going there!’ Thank you to all the staff, can’t wait to come back again. Very very impressed! Well done.

My wife and I booked for the local produce event and were very impressed by the friendly staff who were very attentive to all our needs, congratulations to them all. The food was more reminiscent of a fine dining restaurant in the CBD than one inside a major club and the whole event menu was superb in quality and the way it was cooked and prepared and served, it was a great night for us both. The only issue I had was that being a 'large' man I found the chair very uncomfortable to the point where it actually cut off my circulation to my feet so had to keep getting and going for a walk but it didn't affect our enjoyment though, thanks everyone at the Dove and Shears great product we will be back.

Our first meal out after Covid restrictions eased. The Dove and Shear definitely delivered. The food was delicious, the wine fantastic. The staff were so attentive and the atmosphere relaxing and welcoming. The entree we shared of sour dough bread with tomato, olive and thyme very big but yummy. The mains were to die for. Thank you Dove and Shear for such a beautiful night. Will definitely go again for another great night out, highly recommend.

We have been twice for lunch. Both times we were impressed with the quality of the food, and the service was good. We have tried different gins each time, and like that they are served in smaller glasses when mixed tonic so you really get the flavour of the gin showing through. Looking forward to our next meal there.

Fantastic meal! Butternut Raveoli main - very flavoursome. Guinness Pie with Mash and peas - very hearty, good quantity of meat filling.

Great atmospheres and amazing food. I had the shearers counter lunch and I rate it 5 stars. Who new Campbelltown has the best British inspired restaurant in Sydney. Give it a go!
