Dr Melvyn Polon

Dr Polon is an amazing doctor he is very knowledgeable and has helped my son when no other doctor could. He makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t make you worry unnecessarily. Highly recommend him for all children.

Has a great experience with Dr Polon. Wonderful bedside manner. He helped my son to feel very comfortable in the office, made me feel heard with my concerns and gave me confidence with the information he provided about ongoing care and follow up. The admin team were also very kind and helpful with booking appointments

Absolutely love this doctor Dr Polon made my kids so comfortable.
Parents we need to ask doctors questions also, I think I asked him million questions and repeated them just to make shore. Dr Polon is straight forward he is not there to be our friend he is that to treat the problem. Love him he is amazing 👏

This doctor told me my son did not have Autism (which he was diagnosed with 6 months later from another specialist) he also said I'm wasting the governments money by wanting more speech therapy sessions for my son, he said “if he was going to talk by now he would have” I said what do u mean by this he replies well let's just say he will never tell you a story. As a mother I didn not sleep for days And the most upsetting about this all was that my son was diagnosed so late because Dr told me he does not have Autism I even have reports to prove this, he just has a intellectual disability and all this without a formal Assesment

I called today at Dr Marvyn Polons clinic to make an appoinmnet for my child. The receptionist can't even speak properly and she have zero manner. She cut the line in middle and then she didn't pick my call after that. This is the most miserable and unexpected service I received from an any clinic. Whoever wants to make an appoinment there please be aware you have deal with this mannerless lady.

It's been several months and to this day, I am still having nightmares about what a dreadful experience we had seeing this pediatrician. We had a referral from our GP and was searching around for a good pediatrician. 5 star reviews from a few people. I thought to myself - alright this might be a good doctor who will be able to help my son with his allergies and his chronic runny nose. For sure he will be able to provide the best advice being a fancy specialist and with the fee that he is charging you would have high expectations. (I've called around and this was the only place that had availability and charged the most) What I got from a mere 30 minute consult with this doctor was beyond appalling. He proceeded to ask me what the problem I'm seeing him is when there was clearly paperwork provided to him prior to the appointment there on his desk. He was very rushed throughout the session and advised me that I should stop stressing and that my son (merely judging from his appearance) is perfectly healthy. He said that his condition was not serious enough for him to treat and that this was a waste of time. We were charged $275 anyway (apparently discounted) for a mere 30 minutes listening to advice we already received from our GP and google. The basic advice we received was not at all satisfying and I thought maybe he can at least help to complete my son's daycare form regarding his allergies. He had a look at the form and just ripped it up in front of our faces. He said that it was irrelevant. I had to ask him a second time to complete it and justify that it is required by the daycare for the forms to be completed as they will not let my son attend without it. Finally listening, he agreed but was too stubborn to use the form so we ended up with a scribbled note which the daycare didn't acknowledge. (I ended up going back to my GP to have the form completed with no issues) As I was finalising payment at the reception and to leave a lasting impression, Dr Polon (rushing around as he does) didn't see my son standing there and walked right into him kneeing him in the head. I understand it was unintended and accidents can happen. My son -traumatised and stunned at the time turned out fine, but that definitely added to the experience. Not a very good one. Time, money and effort wasted to see this doctor. At least the receptionist was nice. She was definitely more sincere. More helpful.

Melvyn Polon is unfortunately the opposite. Rude and rushed, he’ll insist you come back for a follow up in 3 months.. then rudely ask you why you’re here when you do.

Very disappointing not only did it take weeks to get through to him but both times waiting i could hear him yelling in his office at someone. The last time he was running over an hour late wasted my time so i walked out.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of this office for almost a month. I’ve called almost 10 times already today seeing the answer machine said they open at 11am. Still haven’t answered a call. This is ridiculous!!!
