Kinoko Japanese Restaurant

We had a quick lunch there and ordered the soba soup with tempura prawns on the side and Japanese chicken curry. The food is presented well and delicious. The service is good, and the staffs are friendly. Overall, it was a good lunch.

Incredible food. Super lovely staff. Always felt welcome. Some of the best raw fish I've ever eaten. Would happily recommend.

Little gem in Byron Bay. Great customer service from the Japanese guy and the Japanese cute girls.
Highly recommend their Dragon Roll I was watching the sushi chef freshly made my roll it was so wonderful.
Will come back again !

Amazingly fast service as we sat outside and ordered 5 dishes and they were at the table within 5mins. Beautiful freshly cooked and sushmi was amazing.

Excellent! We ordered the vegetable donburi and the sashimi donburi. The dishes had so much flavor, we were served quickly and the waitress were nice and smiling.

Super tasty Japanese with a great vegan selection in downtown Byron. Well priced, good service and with great local suppliers they acknowledge on their menu for provinence. We loved it and will be back!

My partner and I love their food. It’s our favourite grab and go. The crunchy salmon rolls are very addictive, I have one and then immediately three more. 😆 So good! Also love the crew, hard workers and good vibes 100%

Decent sushi but found staff inattentive and we had to self serve our own sushi and drinks and find staff for any other orders.

I have been eating at Kinoko for 14 years and can highly recommend this sushi. The service is excellent and they will make anything you want to order. A must to dine at. Big thanks guys, keep up the great work! X

Came here for lunch, the food and service was exceptional. We had mixed sashimi and the salmon don bury . Fresh and delicious seafood and rice and vegetable cooked just right. Gluten soy sauce and options.

there’s a few sushi/Japanese places in Byron, but this is by far one of the best. Very fresh and tasty produce, great service, and a sweet central location!
