Sooo good! If there was a cardamom pod in every city the world would be a better place. Extraordinary food!

This is a small, take away type restaurant with provide yummy vegetarian food with reasonable price. There are some seats if you want to do eat in as well. They have a variety of food options. We tried - mixed vegetables curry, vegan Dahl with rice, Koftas balls and Samosas - all are yummy 😋. Be aware of opening hours as they close by 5pm if you want it for dinner. Happy with our visit.

New owners, better food, great value. A must go while in Byron.

This Krishna eatery is nourishing and delicious. My everyday vegetarian lunch, all of the menu is impeccably elaborated. The owner projects beautiful vibes and so do his employees.

We asked for a small plate of hot food and salad... there was plenty in a 'small' serve, nutritious and healthy with a good range of options. The meal was filling, tasty vegetarian food. We'd visit again.

Frank is an awesome chef. Been fortunate to taste his delicious masterpieces for a number of years. Easily deserves a 5 star.

I've been ordering the same thing at the Cardamom Pod since 2005 & while some things have changed, such as a wider selection of cabinet food, what remains the same is the great quality, reasonable prices & variety of vegan choices. Hope you guys are here forever.

Very tastful food, healty and vegetarian at fair price. You chose the size of plate/price and can choose from the "buffet". Better don't come too late to risk that it is already eaten.

Cheap, tasty, and wholesome! I recently ate here on a day trip to Byron and I was so happy with the meal! The young girl who served us was so cheerful and made the whole experience so pleasant. There was a bit of a line because it was right around lunch time but it was well worth the wait for the delicious food. The samosa was amazing (and so cheap) and we loved the dessert selection too. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience, will 100% be returning every time we come through byron!

Had an amazing filling and tasty meal here today and was as good as ever if not better and still very cheap compared to anything around town.

We met the young hare krsna owners who are lovely and they seem to be really working on bringing a good service to the bay

I did notice a lot of reviews here that were mostly about the cost and portions of food but as I understand this is the first time for these guys running a restaurant and the previous owners hadn't introduced them to the locals or explained what people normally expect when they are regulars so they are flying blind and trying to catch up fast.

We will keep coming here and supporting them and I'm sure if anyone has issues with changes they could take them up with them directly instead of bringing there star down. Let's give them a good chance of survival 🌼.

I had luch today, it was super delicious and well priced. I can't wait to go back and try more food.
Best place to have lunch in Byron Bay!

Delicious food. Very taste. Good customer service. Even though the place is a bit hidden, I’d strong recommend this place. I’d eat here again.

Doesn't look that exciting from the outside, but the food is amazing with plenty of flavors. Most of the options are vegan.

They Have amazing Ayurvedic food and salads. They always are so good!! 100% recommended. Healthy yum reasonable price food in byron. Curries are delicious, my partner favorite is the Lasagna and mine the Moussaka. Definitely a must try.

Very delicious vegan foods for affordable price. Vegan samosa with sauce is also delicious. Highly recommended.

Wholesome, nourishing, and absolutely delicious, if you go on the weekend they've got the Thai Green curry!! DELISH!
otherwise I usually opt for the kofta balls and load up on their salads, soo tasty.
Their staff are super friendly and lovely too!!

Delicious food with great flavours and didn’t make me feel heavy afterwards even though I ordered and ate a large serve. The kofta balls were a highlight although can’t go wrong with any of the dishes as all were excellent. Also doesn’t come with the inflated Byron Bay prices like some of the other vegan places. So good I ate here twice during my week stay. Highly recommend.

Hidden Byron Gem !!! Best vegetarian food at an unseemly affordable price - how is this food so good and so cheap? Seriously on any budget this place is worth a visit. My favourite was the Vegetable Gratin (YUM) and the assortments of Salads. And seriously your cheesecake was the best cheesecake, vegan or otherwise, I've EVER HAD !!! Thank you for all that you do !!!

Very homely And interesting little cafe. I didn’t eat much because I had already ate lunch but had a few small snacks of sago pudding and the Paneer Samosa. Very tasty and fantastic choices of food I must say. Would definitely come back and try the vegetarian main meals when I am more hungry.
