Both Gabby and the woman who greeted me at the door (I believe this was the branch manager) were so helpful and friendly upon my arrival. Service was efficient and fast. I felt bad walking in towards closing hours and said I’d be happy to come back the next day but they insisted I stay. Thanks for the excellent service and helping me get my account set up!

Greatest Banking Branch in the Northern Rivers, all staff I’ve met are welcoming, kindhearted & have provided me quality service. Benjamin as a standout in this reguard. Highly recommend holding CBA Byron as your favourite neighbourhood bank.

The worst Branch, Rudest people, more important to take a lunch break and literally get up out of the chair while sitting with us. I had been to the Ballina branch multiple times and they are just as hopeless so drove to Byron and made the appointment and after 1 hour still bearly got a resolution after speaking with a total of 3 different people.

So rude and painful to deal with, I have never had this issue with CBA before. After waiting 20 minutes in line to be served the staff member acknowledged I was next in line but then opted to start assisting other customers before me, he seemed amazed and belligerent that this made me irate and I asked that I be served first as I was the next in line. The people behind me were equally confused by this and advised they were happy to wait as I was first in line.

I told Benjamin what I wanted and he just stared at me blankly and said 'I don't know what that product is' whilst offering a sarcastic smile. After some fluffing around the manager came out and said that they don't have a lending specialist and couldn't help me. She seemed more interested in arguing her point than making an effort to help me.

Such a poor experience for a customer who has banked here his entire life & has the full suite of CBA products.

Appalling service with appalling training. Listed phone number for the branch diverts to an answer Machine where a curt message asks for your contact details with a promise to call you by close of business. I have made several phone calls and nobody returns the promised call.

What a terrible Customer Service experience !.! I request an appointment with a Mortgage Specialist 2 days prior, finally you sit down and the Bank staff and he says;
Sorry Sir I am not a Mortgage Specialist... What a frustration !.!

The staff is mostly useless, all they know how to say is you can do it online. The staff is no friendly at all and rude most of the times ( apart from the lady with short blonde hair). Definitely taking my money somewhere else.

in this branch the service is completely unhelpful. there is a lady on the front very rude with foreign people. is not a welcoming environment and neigther useful for info. I am a commbank customer from many years and I've been in others branches and the service was completely different.

I have been banking with commbank my whole life and am now on the brink of changing banks. The fact that commbank spent close to 4billions dollars on fossil fuels last year is atrocious and brainless. I will be switching my mortgage and family banking if their mindset does not change towards a sustainable based future.

Hey Commbank, I've been a customer for many years but not happy about you investing nearly $4 billion of our money in fossil fuels last year - the biggest funders in Australia. I can no longer have my money involved in that. If you don't stop funding polluting coal projects I will take my banking elsewhere.

Left my ID there and spent the last 3 weeks calling at all different times with not a single answer. Left voice mails with my number and no reply. The quality of service here is shocking.

I've found this branch to be rude and unhelpful.
CBA does not offer competitive rates AND does act in the interest of the local or wider community.

There are better banks out there.

I am from Byron bay a local all my life came in today and there was a lady working who was really rude to foreign people, mocking there accents and speaking so weirdly thinking that they couldn't understand here

Time consuming and issues remaining unresolved.
