Excellent. My favourite little restaurant in Byron and, in my opinion, the most underrated. Is always a must when in town and never ever disappoints. Servings are generous, food is delicious, and the service is friendly. Recommend you book so you can get a table. I'm already excited to return.

This food was incredible & so fresh, full of flavour. The wait staff were lovely and the place had a European feel about it with the outdoor dining down the little side street in the heart of Byron. Couldn’t recommend enough! We will be back :)

The best fish I had in Australia by far. We got the trio of dips, which came with a very fresh pita, and two fish of the day meals. The fish was tassssty. It fulfilled my expectations! The place is lovely and staff very friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

One of the highlights of our trip, fantastic food in a very popular little spot, very busy to the point of organised chaos, however both food and service was first class.
Its hard to describe, the restaurant is one of several all lumped together, it was hard to see were one started and the other began.
There was live street music on the night we were there creating a lively , bustling atmosphere.
Really enjoyed our meal , I had a seafood mix it was great.

My partner and I ate here on the Tuesday evening following Easter. Despite being incredibly busy, the service was faultless - each person took their time with us, provided recommendations, kept our wine and water glasses topped up, and smiled throughout it all.
The food was impeccable - THE BEST fish and squid I have ever had! Perfectly cooked, beautiful fresh flavours, and authentically Greek. Great atmosphere too, with tables spilling out onto the lane way.
We live in Forster, and The Cyprus Tree was recommended to us by someone who lives in Brisbane. Their reputation is widespread and they did not disappoint!! Do not leave Byron without eating here!!

Of our 4 evenings in Byron Bay, we ate here for 2 of them - we were blown away by the quality and taste of their seafood; definitely one of the best seafood I've ever had in Australia! It was mind-blowing how soft and creamy their octopus and calamari is, as well as their barramundi and scallops. Such fresh seafood! I also highly recommend their dolmades as a side. In addition to the wonderful food, my partner and I felt such nostalgia as it was like we were back holidaying in a coastal European town, eating on the streets with such delicious Mediterranean dishes. To top everything, service was wonderful from the lovely waiters and the owner himself.

I loved the food, service, atmosphere and everything! If you’re in Byron, you should definitely go to try the best food!

Four of us went for a late dinner. The service was great and all our meals were superb. Even though by the time we finished we were on our own, there was no pressure to hurry on. I recommend the Cyprus Tree in Byron

I'm a well mannered man, and at one point I was tempted to lick the plate, it was THAT good.

The chef came out and greeted us and the staff were all attentive, and warm and made us feel very special.

You guys have pulled off a dream, well done!

We will be back before we leave Byron!

For anyone looking for INCREIDBLE food that will go into your top 10 after you taste it, do yourself a favour and try this place. The seafood was PERFECTLY cooked, everything was just perfect. Very rare to find these days!

Do note, it can be tricky to find as its between two other restaurants.

Also, if you like cocktails, they were amazing at them too!

Visiting from Adelaide, we were driving from Coffs to Tweed Heads and chose to stop in Byron for a late dinner at Cyprus Tree based off of previous reviews. Turns out they were all correct! We had the bugs, beef fillet with halloumi and the mixed seafood plate. Each dish was incredibly flavour filled and great value for money (especially for Byron). The fish and beef were perfectly prepared. Friendly service, even chef Andrew came out to see how we enjoyed our experience.

Amazing Restaurant, the way the Cyprus Tree team handle all the customers requests and pressure of how busy they are is admirable.
My family of 10 never were waiting for drinks or food, especially considering how popular the place is.

Cosy little restaurant with a great atmosphere owned by a lovely cypriot family that honours their regular customers. Great food and always fresh, grilled to perfection especially the seafood octopus calamari and the fish is so tender on the traditional platter accompanied with a taste of grandma’s home dishes. Don’t miss this restaurant, the food is made with love. The family creates a real home to feel atmosphere

We found this restaurant just walking around Byron and what a gem it is! The food was delicious- we had a platter, freshly cooked and more than enough for two. The service was excellent, both friendly and attentive and everything was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend 😊
