Fantastic food, but the lighting is terrible, it is so dark you can’t see the colours in the food. The ramen eggs are divine, with the salty taste. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Who knew that green olives and corn go together? Delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chocolate dessert was disappointing. It was just chocolate ganache with some toasted coconut and some berries.

Right, where to start. Beware for novel to follow. But credit where credits due.
These guys are an absolute sensation. They're a little off the beaten track but a beautiful little find, up that staircase.
Food - Something for everyone - I like to think I know about food, but when these guys present the dishes, you get the full back story to the dish, its origins and all that jazz. Thats a bit of USP for me. There's a certain passion for the product that for sure shines through, instead of spaces that give a scripted nonsense, these guys have a genuine air when they're letting you know what they're serving.
I went to their event with Casey from BarLiberty, and it was epic. start to finish, so good. So if you get to book into an event, Do it!!
Since then I reckon I've been back at least once a week, whether its for a post work wind down cocktail and chat. *Special mention to that in-house made Vermouth. Wow. takes that Friday night negroni to another level. Even if booze isn't your vibe, they've got all those non alcoholic spirits.
Aesthetics - They've got wall to wall graphics of the local artist Mlak, gives a cheeky pop of colour to the space. Super chilled atmosphere, no airs of pretentiousness, the space is mega easy on the eye. And decent playlist popping off in the back too.
Basically, its that grown up wine bar you've always wanted as your local haunt, staff who know what tf they're doing, and they want you to enjoy your night. Winner in my book.
My go to's;
Ramen eggs. YES please. Any special they've got going as they're always a banger. in house made bread, Yum. Ooh the pickles, tasty little number. The beet salad with ricotta (I think) mega creamy and little toasted oats. OR hit up the Feed me menu. Winner, all the good stuff as it comes.
If you love a negroni, you won't be disappointed by theirs, and get the vermouth. underlying sweetness boosting about.
Also one of the best Martini's I've ever had the pleasure of gracing my palate.
Also here's praying that those deep fried beef tendons go on some form of bar menu because my god they captured this Scottish kids heart. And that bacon jam.

The Three Blue Ducks Family have blessed Byron with another smash hit. This lite bites, natural wines & cocktail spot is not one to miss. Follow the unassuming stairs to this beautiful venue and enjoy.

Had the nicest experience in Oma, the food was spectacular. I can’t speak any more highly of Will the host. He knew what to suggest, I was so impressed with his knowledge of the menu and wine list! Will be back. The ambiance was beautiful as well!

We had the best time! Our French waitress ( shame we didn’t ask her name) was a delight, so lovely! Must visit in Byron !
Food was simple but very tasty, wine menu was mostly Aussie wines , not big on the international offers but def some nice ones in there!
Might be old school , but I still love my wine glasses with a stem 😛

Excellent service, delicious food and killer wine list. We loved how different the food was and how much we learned about the wine making process of those we tried. Also hard to pass the fact that the wine list is curated to champion female wine makers - love that! This was more a fine dining experience than most of the eateries in Byron and perfect for a special treat.

The Three Blue Ducks guys have produced another great venue!
They have created a lovely ambience with MLAK art work, greenery, and lighting.
Service was light, friendly and informative and not too invasive.
All staff were knowledgeable on menu options. Tops marks to the lovely Lena who was looking after us.
The abundant tasty dishes were beautifully presented and timed very well.
If a fan of the Ducks you will need to sample Oma.

Great list of wines made by females. The focaccia and butter was to die for. Ramen eggs was another hit. The chicken was amazingly cooked. Doing well for a place that’s 3 months old.

Looking at the menu, I was not really sure that I would love it - but as the food came out, it was clearly all extremely creative and just amazing.

We loved it and also loved the service - waiters were all very knowledgeable and importantly - also very personable and warm.

I’ll be back!

Anyone that doesn’t give this 5 stars should be punished and sent to surfers paradise for a feed.
Actually brilliant menu and the wine was perfect. Can’t wait to get back here - the service was above and beyond!!

An amazing new addition to Byron Bay’s food scene, definitely worth checking out (order the steak and cauliflower, you will not regret it). Great vibe, great wine, great food.

Had a great dinner with my mate Sunday night, had the “feed me” set menu and damn that was delicious. Came away very full and happy.

Firstly, a restaurant open on a monday night has to be applauded. Service is friendly and assured. As it should be. The food is intelligent and high in quality and wouldnt work with untrained less informed staff. The restaurant is casual and comfortable, a wood and stone with subdued earthy colours and low lights.
Food can be eaten as set menu choice with a selection of dishes. Its quite a feast for $75 a head and can be customised to vego or gluten free etc.
It is very delicious well balanced food. Wine by the glass is outragiously expensive though so a bottle would be suggested for better value. You could also try the set wine menu which seems to offer more value and an exciting variety just like the food set menu.
