Kawana Waters Hotel

The location was fantastic and super convenient because we stayed in the nightcap Kawana waters hotel next door.
The food was fantastic, I had the chicken Caesar salad, I never get a salad but felt like one, it was so good. My partner had to rump and it was so so good.
The drinks menu was really fun.
The kids meal was great, comes with a drink and ice cream and they were very accommodating for kids. Playground outside and area inside for kids to play in / play the chocolate machines.

Plenty of seating, toilets on site. Wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking.
Will definitely be back!

We always get a good feed here, but make sure to get in early as it gets crazy busy. I had the rib fillet steak with chilli bug topper. What an awesome feed! 🤤 for me, it's the best pub feed on the coast with killer views of the water from the deck. Thanks guys, see you next time.

They have really good chefs to cook medium rare steak. We returned a few times, it's impressive. Really good job for the chefs who cook steaks.
The hosin beef ribs are too sweet. Beef is tender and the portion is generous. Just too sweet. Fish and chips are nice too. Thank you to chefs and friendly staffs.

Generous portion.
But confit duck legs are really dry.
Confit should be cooked in fat and tearing apart easily. It was just dry, tasted like only cooked on broth and pan fried. Skin is not crispy.
Partial pan fried, partial soggy.
Broccoli stem partial cooked.
Quinoa smelled sour, I didn't want to risk.

Deep-fried food is ok,not much to address.

Food was great and all the staff were fantastic!

Only issue - Seafood pasta was listed as unavailable on QR code app, which I ordered via. But then other guests went up to the counter and were able to order it, so manager might not have updated availability?

Still a 5 star rating, for the great food and wonderful staff!

This place is absolutely brilliant, I have not a bad word to say about it.
Visually beautiful and modern. Awesome bar setup (indoor and outside), great selection of spirits, Bali huts, river views, was more than substantial heating at every single table. Meals were fast and the food was spot on, had the "seafood platter for two" was great walked away full and i am a big eater!!,Also a AHL pub makes it better. Kids room and a outdoor playground were both clean.
Cant wait to comeback on a weekend and see it in full swing.

We’ve lived here for two years, drive past it weekly, and had no idea it was here. A real hidden gem in the region (management - consider upgrading your signage). Unexpectedly impressive atmosphere - beautiful outlook over the yacht harbour. Plenty of room, lots of tables, ample outdoor heating in winter, even a kids room and playground. Highly recommended.

(edit for management: the sign near the road is partially covered by that palm tree, almost entirely when you're in the left lane, and the other signs near the entry are dominated by the "POKIES" sign. We had no idea there was a marina out the back - it was such a great surprise. I would recommend putting a beautiful twilight photo on your roadside sign of people at a table overlooking the boats - that would immediately convey what is here)

What a great pub! We ate here 3 nights during our stay in Kawana. My partner had the bugs every night they were so good. Kids meals include a drink and ice cream. Had one of the best margaritas I've had all year. Great view. Only issue was ordering, staff trying to get you to order through the QR code but you can't add toppers or extras then you have to line up at the bar.

Another good visit to the Kawana Waters Hotel. Not too busy and the weather was cool which allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the view over the marina. Food was served quickly and of a good standard. We both had Caesar Salad which was nice. Could probably have done with a bit less dressing. Recommended for a few bevvies or lunch with friends

Beautiful sunshine today overlooking the calm waters of the marina. Had fabulous battered Dory with yummy fresh salad and chips. (I prefer my chips more well done but I forgot to ask this time). My son and I had a lovely time. Highly recommend this venue.

Service and atmosphere, alfresco dining as well as indoors food was good loved the view . I will be back

We went to a party here. Nice place. They sell Larry's beer so I was happy. There's a good view of the marina out the back.

Great 70th birthday function lunch. Meals very good and with so many guests so fast being brought out. Staff super friendly. Highly recommend.

A great place right on the water for a meal .
Food was on point , bar staff and service crew were very attentive and polite , in particular our waitress by the name of Judy.
The staff there really set the place apart , highly recommended

Food was AMAZING! the customer service from elaine was incredible and the best customer service I've ever gotten. My 7 year old son even said how lovely she was!

From the road it doesn’t look like much, but is a great place to catch up with family and friends.
Lots of space and eight on the marina. Kid friendly and lots of space for big groups.
