Backlane bar and street food

Had a great lunch having share plates between 4 of us. S& P calamari was best we have had. Good price, quality food, excellent service.

Backlane Bar is a little hidden gem! Tucked away in First Ave behind the Esplanade, Mooloolaba. What a find, the owners are lovely & have a fantastic team. We tried the Cauliflower Bites, Spiced Calamari & Chicken Skewers, along with some amazing cocktails. If we lived closer I'm sure this would become a regular favourite 😊

We went to Back Lane last night and had a fantastic time. Service was impressive, drinks came fast, and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. The chicken skewers, lamb Kafka, scallops, karate chicken and prawn dishes were excellent. (The lamb was incredible). We also had a zombie cocktail, which was the cherry on top. More than happy to recommend Back Lane, it was a great night out.

Backlane is a cute little place behind the hustle and bustle of Mooloolaba. Really, really beautiful food; highly recommend the scallops, cauliflower bites and sweet potato fries! Wonderful service too, we’ll definitely be back!

We're just here now, the drinks is very professional and passionate and delivers a high quality of service with attention to details.and the waitress.But when we ask for the chef suggestion we were told to order in the menu.
We ordered beef lahm bi and it's fresh and delightful.
The place definitely has something just seems like little bit mismanagement but don't hold against them.Food is good and drinks, atmosphere great.So please give it a try...
By the way must try the octopus garden cocktail 😘🥰🥰🥰

We were after good food and good cocktails. We got exactly that and to top it off, the service was great. We ordered the zombie cocktail which was spectacular but my favourite was the tijuana tummy. The food to accompany those drinks was divine.
Highly recommend this place in the street behind the esplanade at Mooloolaba.

Fantastic. The passion fruit drink at cocktail hour was amazing. Must come here if you’re in Mooloolaba. Wait staff are fantastic and take care of you very well, ❤.

Had a nice dinner here after a long walk on the beach. There is a good selection of beer, and the mains are an interesting mix of dishes from different countries. We had a beef skewer, the prawn and ginger dumplings. To finish off there was great baclava - not too sweet, but with lots of nuts.

This place is awesome. Venture beyond the main drag for friendly service, great cocktails and delicious food. Came on a trip from Melbourne due to great reviews and it was even better than expected. Happy Hour is next level. We'll be back!

What a fantastic local place this is! Ricky at the bar could not have been more friendly and he really does pay serious attention to guests and to making a great cocktail. The Margarita and Long Island Iced Tea were awesome. The food was actually very high quality to be honest and generous proportions. Happy hour 3.30 to 5.30 and some serious drink and food specials to go with it...think $5 and $6.. The place is not expensive, has a great atmosphere and is well worth a visit. My partner and I are definitely going back soon

Enjoyed our evening at the Backlane, timing of the tapas plate delivery was good, just enough time between to enjoy a drink and chat. Food presentation was good and tasted excellent. An enjoyable experience for a great price.

I have been to backlane numerous times now, the appetisers are always delicious, the drinks are amazing and the staff are super welcoming and friendly

Great happy hour cocktails. Best in mooloolaba, value for money and taste and presentation. Margaritas and Espresso Martinis are the best. Food is tasty and well priced. A hidden gem behind the Main Street. Skip the Main Street and go here !!

Fantastic food! It feels like plates around the world with paella, spring rolls, prawn ceviche, fish tacos. Every dish we had was fresh and full of flavour. We started with cocktails which were amazing, always happy to get a cocktail when it’s an actual experience. Then to top it off the service was fast, knowledgeable and brilliant recommendations. Come one, come all for a fabulous dining session. Highly highly recommend

What a great place. Not the first I heard to say they wished they found this great bar and share food joint. Yum. Delicious. Satisfied. Happy diners. Highly recommend Blacklane Bar & Street Food. Be prepared to be delighted by the attentive service from Shane and his team. Great service and great food. For me the stand out was the lamb koftas. My wife called the chicken skewers. Great gluten free options clearly called out by the menu. Beer was great but mt uncle gin got the big tick

Lovely little gem with beautiful tapas dishes, a great selection for me as a vego and we were welcomed with our 3 dogs which was hugely appreciated as we had found it hard to find anywhere in Mooloolaba that would accept dogs for a dinner booking. Excellent service and great value, will definitely go again :)
