Andrew provided a superb level of service and exceptional quality in the boots which he created for my admittedly unusual foot size/shape. His attention to not only the comfort and fit, but to the ascetic created a perfect pair of boots. His focus on the ways in which poorly fitting footwear impact on stance, balance, gait, as well as the impact on the body allowed me to really pay attention to how my footwear is impacting my day to day comfort.

This is a unique store ! They actually make the shoes in the workshop. They have a range of boots and shoes that are made to order in styles and leathers I have never seen before. They also have a range of ready to wear shoes and boots. I bought a pair of black desert boots . The fit and make are of a high quality and comfy. Highly recommend And the staff are friendly and knowledgable.

Never thought I'd be guilty of shoe lust until coming across this shoemaker. These are shoes that make you feel good. Now have five pairs... and counting.

It's hard to find a ready to wear shoes when you have wide feet like mine! So I went to Andrew's shop and he recommended two new pairs from his collection, a derby and an oxford. I couldn't decide which pair to buy because of the finish and the comfort of the shoes, so I decided to buy both. I would definitely come back for a pair!

I have problem feet and have always had trouble finding comfortable dress shoes for work. A colleague recommended Andrew a couple of years ago and it was a life saver. He adjusted the fit until he got it right and I got exactly what I wanted. He just finished my third pair (one black and one brown oxfords, plus new desert boots), so I figured it was time to writer a review. The smell of leather alone is worth a visit to his shop. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a special pair of shoes you can live in.

I went into the store looking for some new business shoes. I was instantly greeted and helped. They went through the wide range of styles and fits until we found one that suited my feet. The shoes were comfortable on the first wear and look great! Overall it was a very easy and pleasant experience.

I'm glad that I came here for my new pair of shoes. I purchased a black calfskin Oxford. With all the qualities and attention to details, this pair of shoes is a good value option. The young shoemaker is friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended !!!

Andrew is a master of his craft. He pays attention to the finest detail down to the little metal tips of his shoe laces. Exceptional workmanship is clear in every demo shoe in his bright airy shop on the top floor of the strand. And it is certainly evident in my pair. Shoes make the man (or woman)
