Had takeaway chook. Like all roast chicken, the sooner you get it out of the oven the better. Never choose a chook with a split skin! The water based juices have long evaporated.
My experiences at The Chicken Shop have all been good. The chooks are heavy for their size, seasoned well and very tasty!

Best roast chicken. Agree it’s on the pricier side but it was absolutely delicious, definitely worth a try.

Then a trip to 862 Oxford Street Sydney is on you to do list the chicken is so good it's impossible to put into words, add to funky options, of great salads, Sydney's best chicken sandwiches as well as great combo offers this little gem will soon be on your speed dial

These guys are legends, wonderful chicken and sides, get the fries for sure. Service is great, parking is typical Oxford Street. You can order online and pay by card. They often have a special meat dish and are open late and pretty much every day.

The fries here are really good! I don't like salty so I ordered no salt and it was perfect!!

Delicious chicken, excellent variety of interesting and tasty salads, gourmet vegetables and out of this world chocolate mousse. The staff are the typical professional and polished Merivale staff. Phone orders and delivery services too.

Great chicken, tasty salads (and not just dull salads, really interesting flavours). You can tell its good by the queues of people.

So so so yummy! Huge chickens so juicy and tender! Chips were so yummy and crispy! A little bit on the priceyside but so so so worth it!

Friday beef special with potato gratin and bean salad...heavenly!
