Be wary of AdBlue! My 2021 Mitsubishi Express Van had to be towed to Bathurst Mitsubishi as the AdBlue sensor stopped recognising that the AdBlue tank was being filled / was completely full, and the Van went into “limp mode.” Living in a small country town, it was impossible to get to a Mitsubishi Dealership before the counter went down to zero, and the van would no longer start. Mitsubishi Bathurst had the Van for 2 weeks - none of my phone calls were returned. I was told that they had another van with the exact same problem that had been sitting there for 3 months and that they figured I was in the same situation. I was told that it was a licensing problem between Mitsubishi and another company, as the AdBlue tank is an addition - not made by Mitsubishi. The NRMA road service mechanic told me it is a problem with the sensor inside the AdBlue tank no longer working, and he is seeing an increasing number of vehicles going into limp mode and requiring towing because the adblue in the tank is not being recognised by the computer. The communication and attitude of Mitsubishi Bathurst was appalling. Not one phone call or email was returned. The liscensing problem was suddenly resolved when I sent them a Fair Trading formatted letter demanding that they fix my van in a timely manner or replace it.
I have sold my Mitsubishi Express Van and will never buy another Mitsubishi again (or a vehicle that uses adblue) based on the exceptionally poor service at Bathurst Mitsubishi.
