Had a great burger and chips due to our flight being delayed. Service and food were A+ and was the only thing that was pleasant about the day.

5 star coffee, Such a great surprise to find great coffee at a. Airport! So good I had 3 in a row.
And the food and service was also great but OMG that coffee - sensational!

Ballina Burger was amazing

Good airport service, quick and easy. Chips were good. Bagel could of had more cream cheese.

I do like an honest and fair reviews but had to have a chuckle at some of the reviews here.
Wasn't busy when I ordered- service was fine- coffee/chai and food came out quickly. Chai was nice- more on the cinnamon side. Brekky burger was tasty and prices weren't too exorbitant for an airport.
Hot tip- don't wait for your flight to be boarding before ordering banana bread if you want it toasted.

The vege burger was yummy. Staff are friendly.

It’s already a very pricy place, extra $1 for bad quality ketchup seems too much. Either free or good quality. You can’t have to it cake and eat it too

Worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. All milk no coffee. Service very average and very high prices. Do not recommend at all.

This restaurant needs some competition so they improve their standards

Ordered Mango shake, paid AUD 12. Came as white shake, no taste of mango, went back to counter, got green shaje paid another $2. Total
$ 14 got 3/4th full watery shake. So disappointing to receive such a bad product even after paying decent amount, a very unhappy customer, just ruined my mood..

Do not use the Order & Pay QR codes on the tables. You are meant to receive an SMS and collect your drinks and meal. I received a message for my drink order, but never for my meal. After over a minute wait, I asked the staff about where it was. It has been sitting on their counter for ages, getting cold. They claimed that they sent an SMS but that the internet is notoriously bad. Which is no excuse, if it is unreliable, do not use it. They said they called out my name but across a crowded terminal, they could not be heard.

I ordered a banana bread and requested that it's toasted. I told the cafe staff that I needed to leave as my plane was boarding. There was no sense of urgency (seeing as its a cafe in an airport departure section). I was told "we are toasting the bread as fast as we can and can not make the bread toast any faster". I repeated myself and requested for the bread and was given the same response. I opted to leave the banana bread just so I couldn't miss my flight. VERY PATHETIC SERVICE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO BETTER. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Older female was rude when asked a question, food was ok but not worth the price. bacon and egg roll for $12 had better 1's for half the price. Very long wait to actually get it was lucky the flight was delayed

$11 for 1 potato made into matchstick chips!!! Absolute GREED..I refused to buy them! Staff not very friendly..Place was clean..They have the "Monopoly" as there are no more eating places!!! Take your own packed food!!! Only the "Rich"Can afford their prices!!!

In 2022 to not have suitable gluten free options (especially when you have a monopoly position) is very poor. When we did get a gluten free toastie (effectively all they had) the bread was like cardboard cake. Lift your game Ballina airport

Sandwiches. Inedible. Dry, tasteless bread and mean with filling. Threw away

I was at the airport on a Sunday Afternoon and tried to order a coffee. the response from the staff was, we aren’t making coffees this afternoon, we are to busy.
I fly more often then not and go through many airports. That is by far the worst experience iv had at any airport cafe.

Ordered a Hot Soy Flat white, paid $6.80 just now, and reiterated I need it real hot, The woman made a average coffee and NOT hot.
