Brunero Italian restaurant takeaway

We ordered some pizzas, arancini and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! Love the sourdough pizza base. We even got some garlic bread free with our order. And there was a nice little note in there too. We're definitely going to support this family business in tough times and in good times too. There is only one place to go for pizzas and it's here. First time ordering from Brunero.....and definitely not our last ! :)

I eat and make a lot of Italian food, and this is by far one of the best places for it. Pastas are generally very average here in Sydney especially when you learn how to make it properly, but these guys show how it's done and you can easily tell the difference. Lovely owners as well!

Ordered both linguine and tortellini pastas - both were excellent, cooked to perfection with the right amount of mushroom and bacon.
Arancini was very nice, cheese was delicious and great crispness.
Caramel creme and the cannoli were very delicious end to the meal!
Look forward to ordering again!

Unbelievably good home cooked Italian food. Hands down the best pizza I've ever eaten, and the sourdough garlic bread was a spiritual experience. The surprise Cannoli was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended and I can't wait to try the Pasta.

We tried a variety of dishes so as to get an overall gauge of the quality and it is consistent across the board.

The capricciosa pizza: I had to stop before I over-ate. I don't usually eat crust but I was actually looking forward to the end of each piece. You could eat the crust on it's own (tip: goes great dipped in the sugo).

The tortellini boscaiola w/bacon: flavoursome, balanced and pasta cooked to perfection. My fussy 3 year old is still shovelling this in as I type!

Stuffed olives & pumpkin arancini: wow. Crunchy, golden and a punch of flavour. The sugo provided for dipping was excellent - packed with rich tomato flavour. (Next time I'll be ordering the napolitano to enjoy this properly)

My favourite Italian place in Sydney is Via Napoli, those guys make great food. My new favourite may soon be Brunero.

To the owners: keep doing what you're doing!

Ordered from here for the first time after moving into the area a year ago. Owner was nice enough to give us some cannoli for free and it didn’t disappoint! Garlic bread, pizza and cannoli were extremely delicious. Glad to know there’s some great quality Italian food within walking distance.

Beautiful Italian home cooking, restaurant quality in the comfort of your own home. Generous portion sizes. Would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again. Eggplant parmigiana the best I have ever eaten.

It's strange that an experience of ordering takeaway could be so joyful, but really; ordering from Brunero last night made me happy in so many ways.

Beautifully simple menu on the website—big flavours truly capturing the "less-is-more" philosophy of Italian cuisine. And an online ordering system that worked seamlessly (surprisingly uncommon!).

A wonderful experience picking up from the nearby food truck. In a 30 second conversation it felt like "these are people I'd like to be friends with".

Home-made ciabatta garlic bread? So good.

The arrabiata? Delicious, proper tomato taste, fantastic linguine (glad I didn't add extra chilli—it had kick!).

The garam masala penne? This sounded a little unusual, and I'm always drawn to whatever looks most strange on a menu...and I LOVED it. It seriously works so well. And the al-dente penne was perfect.

Tiramisu? I love tiramisu. It's one of my favourite desserts. And I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the nicest I've ever had. Not overly soggy. Biting espresso flavour that didn't overpower. Cream that was light and worked with the mocha flavour.

I think what I loved was that all the big things were excellent, but so were all the little things: nice functional packaging; a helpful explanation of why when I tried to order cannoli I couldn't; advice to keep the tiramisu and pasta separate when driving home so I didn't accidentally heat up my dessert; pasta being cooked just right.

It felt human. It tasted delicious. I'm only upset that I haven't been ordering from these pros for longer.

So much flavour, such generous portions and very cute packaging.
It's as if I found a little piece of italy in Schofields, very authentic Italian food.

Delicious Italian food just like mom makes at home. The portions are generous and they always arrive hot. Staff is friendly and the surprise cannoli was greatly appreciated. I recommend Brunero to everyone!

Great quality Italian food, well priced and generous portion sizes. This is such a great little family business that has shown resilience in face of these crazy pandemic times we are facing. Really looking forward to see how the menu evolves.

i got pasta and garlic bread from them last night, was incredible !! the value was great, the portion sizes were just right, and they even gave me a complimentary dessert ~ !! i won't be getting italian from anywhere else again <33

I have had this takeaway a few times, diving into the pasta section mostly and they are phenomenal in there! Proper Italian food just like Mom would make!!!
