I cannot begin to express the gratitude to Dr Gomez, he has diagnosed and helped me deal my diabetes every step of the way. He is pedantic with every visit, the visits feel not rushed nor does he have the, 'here's your pills and go' attitude as most doctors take. My family has transferred over to this family practice, no regrets.

Great doctor he is not my first gp but he is close to where I live so thanks for being helpful

I have been seeing Dr Gomez for many years, and I have always found him to be thorough and particular. He listens, and takes the time to treat with utmost care, organising additional tests necessary. Most procedures are done in the clinic, avoiding being shuttled to other facilities. Waiting time is necessary to receive commitment, quality care and attention, rather than a convenient revolving door method.

This surgery is your one stop shop for all tests that you require. Dr Gomez and his staff will cater to all you requirements that you have going on physically & also in a mental capacity.
Although waiting times can be a little long there’s a reason behind that because he leaves no stone unturned & will thoroughly get to your well-being sooner rather than later.
At the end of the day your wellness is their priority!!!!

Doctor Punctuality not guaranteed, because of travel time (traffic), but a very thorough Dr who investigates everything by listening to what you say with tests!! If people are complaining its usually because he has found nothing wrong with them, as I've heard patients complain especially in summer when folks are complaining about muscle-cramps when simple drinking of water everyday will solve most of their problems...my opinion! Please note if you have lived in Lalor Park for even small amount of time? Then you'll understand the sub-culture of substance abuse and violence, and if you live in public housing then most of the stereo-types are true especially in double storey blocked-units! Where the CSOs deploy an array or tactics to make themselves look-good at your expense, more-so if you are Caucasian and single regardless of gender, if something major happens and you need to get them to do something you'll have to contact your local MP! This has been simplified so not to go off-topic too much.

Update for 2020: I've notice people complaining again when they can not get what they want, especially prescription repeats, The doctor here does everything for a reason especially if you a complainer or rude in your behavior to staff or trying to push-in-line as there's no pre-booked appointments and some people try to take advantage of this! The fakers who come here are obvious if you come here long-enough as they'll also will not do any new treatments that could improve there quality-of-life and stay in the same routine and if you are awaiting your turn, people can not help but gossip!

Updated for 2022: Family run clinic, will help you if its in there power to do so! People still complaining as usual about drug repeats, remember folks there's such a thing called prescription drug addicts...awhile some pain killers (etc) are highly addictive which is a understatement. Remember if you are aggressive and complaining and are trying to get what you want by trying to manipulate the other patience to agree with you to cut the queue will not work as I've witnessed in the past!

Needs to build a friendly service more test on site to help us older as travelling is not an option keep it in LP. Mum and Dad brought a new home it's beautiful looks great Darren does a top job lawns do look better 👏😀💙

This Doctor is really annoying as he always wants you to come back to do a blood test that is not necessary, my partner came in for a mental health plan and the Doctor instructed her to come back for a blood test, then another time for a body check, allshe wanted was a mental health plan. I believe he just wants more business and gets the test unnecessarily. It's so annoying, she ended up going to another GP who did her mental health plan straight away

What a caveman of a doctor with a little "d" He is trapped in the 1800's, has a phobia towards computers and writes everything down in minature on scraps of little paper don't know how to employ technology to speed the process up... even his receptionist has no computer, asked me to search the internet for information for my case.. really Annoying .this guy should give up and become a yoghurt maker he's BETTER suited at manufacturing mould cultures....his main concern was how much money he can make from senseless repeat appointments he insisted I make..absolute waste of time making appointments because he'll have you waiting for hours... I dropped 50$ in his consulting room when I asked about it he claimed nothing was found...after I went out and directly back in to check and had to wait for him again. I wont Trust this mug again. BEWARE PEOPLE

The only way I can describe it is blatant over servicing.

Everything is hand written, and they want $1 per page to send your records to another GP
I've asked him to fill out a carer application for me, the disability application happened without him a while back.

It's a straight forward form, yet he's dragged it out to 5 visits pm far, and only answered 1 question, which required ticking up to 3 boxes!

I could go on, but if that doesn't give you a picture of his business, nothing will

If I could give this minus stars, I would. The doors to the dr's office was FILTHY. White paint, but covered in visible blackened dirt around the handles. So hygiene is ironically not a concern for them. The GP was slow, rewrote out an entire printed letter I gave him from my psychiatrist (even though I told him he could KEEP THAT letter as it was a copy). He then refused to prescribe me the medication listed on the letter from my psychiatrist until calling to confirm the letter. Fine, I thought. He made me wait back in the waiting room while his receptionist made the quick call and found out my psych wasnt working that day. Meanwhile, the GP called in another patient and made me wait for that whole consultation. After that was done, he called me back in only to tell me to come back on Tuesday or Thursday when he would "TRY" to call my psych again. But only when I was present. The whole thing was a total waste of time - inefficiency, filthy and old medical centre. Dont go there. Disgusting.

I went to this medical centre at 2:30 yesterday I was told by the receptionist that was short wait that no Drs were in at the moment. After waiting an hour listening to the receptionist gossiping about cheating , divorces and naked selfies on the phone I heard someone who was there before me say they were leaving and would come back tomorrow so I asked what was going on I was told no doctors were in until 4.
I waited until 4 still no dr.
At 4:45 the dr walked in and I was finally attended to by 5:10. Keep in mind this practice is open from 9 ,I told the doctor about the inappropriate conversations the receptionist was having and how we were given no warning about the wait and he was rude and asked if this was interview and would not tell me who the owner was to complain to. I then told my symptoms to the dr which was a extreme sore throat and headaches he then went on to tel me there was nothing wrong with me and would not prescribe anything and gave me a medical cert for a headache. Angry at how I was treated I went straight to another dr who diagnosed me with a chest infection. I am reporting him for neglect as a doctor. If I had not seen another doctor my infection would of got worst.
This company should not be able to call themselves a medical centre.

Do not go here, Dr Gomez is old school and outdated. He has no idea what he's doing anymore. After a simple request failure I will never return.

If u like time traveling and wanna go back to 1960s lalor park medical centre is the best place for you guys, the doctor was too slow and Rewrite my vaccination record on piece of paper.it took him nearly 1 hour and 50 minutes to do my flu shot and he also took my wife's medicare card details and want her to sign the paper slip.no computers at all everything is written by hand plz before you go there read the reviews dont repeat the same mistake.

Staff showed up 30mins late plus the Doctors turned up 1hr late!
Followed by Doctor not attending to clients for a further 30mins.
Worst Medical Experience Ever!!

Tip - go 30mins before they shut so you're not waiting forever!
