Seneviratne AN DR

Dr Sene has been my GP for about 20 years. He is the most caring and compassionate doctor who I have ever met, otherwise I wouldn't have kept going every time I needed a doctor for the last 20 odd years. He is of course very knowledgeable, very friendly and very easy to talk to even about the most delicate subjects.
Dr. Sene is also very dedicated and will see everyone he needs to see, and will stay back late if he is running behind. I have driven past and seen his lights on as late as 10 pm on some occasions.
The receptionists are very friendly and sympathetic as well as being efficient at their job.

Great family dr in blacktown i would recommend him to any new families small and big.

Often well behind schedule because he is more interested in quality care and giving every patient the time they need than being on time
This is handled well by the lovely receptionists as you phone in before your appointment to check when to come. I've even had one phone me to let me know when there was one ahead
Best GP I have ever had or known and I have a background in Health care.

Best Doctor I have ever met. I am a diabetic patient and for last 15 years he looked after me well. Often appointments are late about 1-2 hours. Better to book it and call and go.

Dr Seneviratne has been my trusted doctor for years now, ive since moved from Doonside out to Concord and still only trust this one doctor.

Worst receptionist we met in our lifetime. Very very rude.

Very good doctor but very rude receptionist

Too bad there is no 0 stars - incredibly stupid and unhelpful doctor. People talk about the receptionist, I don’t worry about her, since I’m seeing the doctor, not her. Let me share a few episodes about Dr Asoka Nissanka Seneviratne,
* Can't do anything basic without a referral (even the most basic reports, the goverment says GP can do)
* Refuses to listen to information, immediately jumps and sticks to whatever conclusion he comes up with in his stupid mind * I talk to him about leg lengthening surgeries overseas, he starts talking about increasing length of the other part of of the body (you can guess which) - WTH?

Also caught him lying a few times. It's a few times too many now, I have to switch to my old GP in Parramatta - who is much more humble, yet is helpful and much smarter

It's a shame after being a patient since I was a teenager that I get rejected when I come to the surgery simply due to the fact that I haven't come to the surgery in the last year. The surgery may also need to get their operations in order, I rang 4 times before coming here on a Sunday and nobody answered. Drove 35m to get here. When I get to the surgery there is a receptionist and she asks me have I rung? MAYBE ANSWER THE PHONE thay may help with not wasting people time. At the bare minimum leave a voice message outlining what the protocols are. Simply put get your operations in order and maybe some customer service from the receptionist may help as well.

The receptionist is so mean and nasty person I have ever come across in my life. She is so rude. Left without seeing the doctor. Never stepping my foot in there ever again
