A peaceful escape from the busy day outside, Charlie’s set the mood with lovely piano and acoustic in the background. With retro furniture and an excellent chess set it sets the scene for a lovely cafe experience. Having been here multiple times, if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of traffic noise it’s the place to go at Olive Square. Just finished a couple of games of social chess with my friend while enjoying an excellent latte. Thank you again.

Wow just love this place. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The food was great and was presented nicely. Loved the atmosphere in the cafe and everywhere you looked there was something of interest. Then the high tea came out for another table. Amazing.

Food was great and was very speedy guy serving us was great and explained to us different items on the menu. The plants inside are amazing and very nice atmosphere and no pressure to order quickly. If I could I would come back again. The veggie omelette was amazing. Only negative thing I can say is that he should of advised of if there was an extra charge for oat milk for our drinks. I didn’t ask but after seeing the last review they charge 1.40 for oat milk which is very silly.

Enjoyed brunch with My 10 month old Baby . Pancakes were amazing & very filling. Generous portion size, could of fed Two ppl 👍. My only sugestion is to serve with less berry compote as sauce was very over powering.
Staff are friendly. Dining area has a homy welcome feel with its beautifully Set up plants & flowers. No Bathroom facilities for little ones in nappies thankfully mall is only a skip & hop away if need urgently .

Enjoying a Hong Kong-style claypot rice during cold winters is simply divine.

Claypot rice is quite rare in Sydney. The long cooking time and the need for precise temperature control mark the difficulty of crafting this specialty. These are the reasons why normally Chinese restaurant kitchens are reluctant to put it on the menu.

This time though I was fortunate enough to come across it – in a café with beautiful idyllic decoration that sells normal brunches during the day, and unexpectedly transforms into a Hong Kong-style claypot restaurant at night!

Seriously, a coffee shop in a shopping centre. No matter how wild your imagination is, it is impossible to know that claypot rice are on menu!

I was impressed with its enchanting ingredients and good portion. That fact that it was cooked and served in an authentic casserole, but at a humble price of $18 is truly amazing!

Foreigners, who must be tired of eating honey chicken and stir fry combinations are finding authenticity and satisfaction in these claypot rice dishes. They are carte du jour found only during winter times. Every grain of rice was mouth-watering and stomach warming. Remember to ask the kitchen staff for a small plate of soy sauce specially prepared for claypot rice. For those that struggle with getting kids to eat, here they will finish to the last grain of rice.

I used to get a lot of complaints from friends who live in the Sydney northwest that they don't have any decent Chinese food in the area. This time you guys are in luck!

Best Big breakfast in Baulkham hills. A nice atmosphere full of wood and greenery. Just watch out for the mums with their crying baby's.

Really enjoy the food, coffee. With lovely friendly staff there to help you with anything. Love the decor of the place so cosy.
