We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Experience. Kicking off with breakfast bubbles, then onto picking the fruit, we were then taking through a tasting with the very knowledgeable Scotty. Lunch was a fantastic spread which catered for all: chicken, beef, fish and plenty of salads, followed up by desert. Brett & Sam are very engaging and knowledgeable with the explaining the wine making process. Thanks Wendy, Frank and the entire Saddlers Team. Cheers to vintage 2024 🍷

Fabulous morning. So lovely to start off the day with some bubbles, fun grape picking. Enjoyed the grape stomping and wine tasting and all finished off with a delicious lunch. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My daughter and I had so much fun. Wine was superb!

This was our first stop in our wine tasting tour and it started off amazing. The wine host was very funny, interesting, and made the whole experience feel very personal compared to the other vineyards we visited. Great wine as well.

Great service for a walk in tasting. Our wine connoisseur was very good, knew her wines, knew the history, friendly, attentive but not overly. Just made us feel really comfortable. Great location. Highly recommend.

What can I say? Saddler's Creek wines are some of the best in the Hunter Valley.
The location is excellent for a relaxing tasting or even just a bottle of wine and listen to the music on the weekend.
The people are knowledgeable, welcoming and just really nice people.

We love this place.

Love Saddlers Creek and spend many afternoons sitting with a bottle, or two, listening to the music. Always a great experience at Wine and Chill, the members events and the Master Class sessions. Great wine, amazing staff and so many different and interesting events. Highly recommended.

One of the most delightful wineries i have been to! A big shoutout to Scott (the bearded bloke) who was really nice and extremely informative of the wines and picked a great sample for us to try. The place is dog and kid friendly and son loved the tasting of 5 x different soft drinks with snacks. Will be going back again and again...

Came as part of a group with Activity Tours Australia from Sydney.
We were hosted by Scott, (I think)
He was a great laugh and gave us great recommendations about the wines.
We sampled several and made sure to purchase a couple of bottles before leaving.
Our favourite was the Wild White 👌

Would highly recommend!

I can not tell you what a pleasure it was to not only visit and enjoy Saddler’s Creek Wines, but to experience their customer service over the past two months.

Back in September we visited Saddler’s Creek as the last stop on our wine tour with Chef Jimmy (an amazing experience where he pairs food he cooks from fish market with the wines offered at the wineries). The grounds are gorgeous, and everything has a charm and winery elegant sort of vibe. We sat under their covered porch, and Scott walked us through their wines.

While all the wine's we tasted were good, the reserves were unbelievably good. The Maria Reserve Chardonnay has a delightful combination of fresh fruit and a nice butter toasted note. The reds by contrast were delightfully jammy, bursting with fruit, and well balanced oaked notes. A surprise was their Wild White, a unique blend of Semillon, Riesling, Arneis and Fiano sourced from the Hunter Valley and Clare Valley regions. The resulting wine had an amazingly well balanced mouthfeel, a bright pop of tropical fruits and refreshing citrus. These wines were exactly what we'd been looking for on our tours in both the Barossa and the Hunter, enough so, that I proceeded to buy 2 cases (a mix of Maria Chardonnay, , and Wild White) and freight them back to the states. (plus a bottle of Wild White to enjoy before we left the country).

The process of freighting the wine back was fairly easy. We completed the transaction at Saddler's wine room, and then they reached out the shipper with my payment and information. The wine took about 3 weeks to get to me, during which Saddler's team were in contact with me all along the way), and everything was well packed. Unfortunately, we had a little mix up, and instead received more Wild White than Reserve Shiraz. After notifying them, they got back to me relatively quickly, expressing their apologies for the mix up.

Due to events in my personal life, I unfortunately wasn't able to regularly communicate with them, but they were wonderfully patient with me as we resolved this through October and November. We eventually worked out an amicable solution, in which I'd say they went above and beyond my expectations (and were incredibly friendly doing so).

Overall, they're such a pleasure to work with, I can't recommend Saddler's Creek's staff or wines enough. If I ever get back to Australia, I'll definitely plan to go back and visit to get more of their great wine (or if they ever start regularly start shipping to the states I'll have it even sooner!). Cheers to the amazing team there!

Had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Saddlers Creek yesterday! The cellar door has a great atmosphere with live music and a funky food truck in case you get nibbly. Amazing wines and the staff were incredible. Thanks to Scotty & Amelia for an awesome afternoon ☺

Saddler’s Creek is an amazing cozy place with great wines! All the ladies were so kind an a big shoutout to John who was really nice and extremely informative of the wines and picked even more sample for us to try. All the wines are very good, but my favourite was the Verdelho :-) There are different areas to sit. From a beautiful garden to covered tables and an area with picnic tables. There was live music and they have a food truck with very good snacks and food. A fantastic place for wine tasting but also to enjoy a bottle of wine and snacks with friends. Highly recommended!

We were at Saddler’s Creek for wine tasting and Cathy @Cellar Door was super amazing, she walked us through each and every wine, gave the background, tasting notes and also enough time to understand every wine individually. The whole experience was extremely beautiful. Saddler’s has different tiers of wine from the entry level to premium and the reserve, there is definitely something for everyone. They also organise a live entertainment Friday night event from 5-7 pm with borne-fire and food truck, which was another memorable experience. I would definitely recommend to visit Saddler’s creek wines when you are in Hunter Valley!

We have been a member of Saddlers Creek Wines for 20 years. The wines is as good if not better as the first time we tasted it, we have seen the winery grow and evolve over the years and If you love red wine, I would highly recommend Saddlers Creek.

This was suggested to us by a lady working at the Parramatta visitor's centre as she had visited this vinyard. We were offer a wide range of vines to taste. The cost is $10 for tasting. The gentleman that served us was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Delicious wines, well crafted. Welcoming cellar door and knowledgeable staff. Assistant winemaker Stu gave us the royal treatment with a tour of the winery (still with that just-crushed grapey bouquet wafting throughout), even letting us help plunge the last wine of 2019 vintage, a Shiraz, followed by a tasting in the members room. Hospitality plus!
