Locavore Restaurant

The restaurant attached to Kirkton Park. Amazing setting with a a regal homestead warmth and vibe. Staff on the floor were very well educated on the menu and helpful when ordering. Steak was delicious. Wife enjoyed her fish. Mornings continental buffet was great as well!

I visited this restaurant with my husband during our stay at Kirkton Park. We loved everything. Service was incredible, friendly staff, food was delicious and we had the best wine ever there. I couldn’t ask for anything else. Besides that it’s located in my favourite hotel, if you aren’t staying there, check out this place. It’s beautiful.

We celebrated our anniversary at the restaurant. The food and service were fantastic. The lamb shoulder is a must! I was very impressed with the staff, they did a great job of looking after us.

Amazing and HUGE size. We got entrees and the shoulder thinking it would be sized to two people but no.. you could feed a family with that thing.

We enjoyed a dinner here and were absolutely blown away.
The service was wonderful - Suzanne provided amazing recommendations and paired the perfect wine with our meal.
The open face ravioli is a must - also loved the bread, duck roulade, and beef cheeks.
We will definitely be back!

We just had the 5 course degustation dinner and was blown away with the flavours and quality of the food. The matching wines were well worth it too. The service was excellent and the beautiful surroundings and comfy chairs made the night a perfect one.

Had an amazing meal here. Food was fantastic - we shared the lamb shoulder which was flavorful. Dessert was also a standout. Service was very pleasant. The drive to the hotel was a bit scary though - pitch black road for at least 2km 😬

If I could I would give them 6 star! Yesterday me and my husband had dinner at the restaurant for my birthday. Everything was so perfect, girls who are working there are so welcoming and nice! The food and the atmosphere was amazing too! Totally recommend.

I was there for a wedding and the food and service was top notch as you would expect from an establishment of this caliber. The staff was attentive and helpful. The food was sensational, everything looked immaculate and fresh. The bar had a fine selection of beverage available, par with an beautiful view. Hard to beat!!!!

We ordered the duck , Parmesan fries and beetroot salad and we enjoyed the flavours so much ! This chef knows what he is doing and the staff know their wines !! Such friendly service and beautiful ambiance ... you will not be disappointed with this dining experience!

Really exceeded my expectations. Great service and food with reasonably priced and large selection of wines. The quality of the ingredients does definitely show through.

Surprisingly well above the hunter valley standard of many local restaurants experienced to date / superb service - beautiful restaurant and very fine food / not cheap but not overpriced really either considering the quality - will be returning here each visit in the future
