Great place to enjoy some food and drinks in Southbank.

My steak was cooked as requested. Medium rare. I was very good.
Staff is very helpful and kind.
There was live music when I arrived.
It is better to book a table for big groups.
I'll be back, for sure.

Had a really good lunch at the Plough inn. The steak sandwich was really good (steak was a little bit gristly), and the chips side was huge. The chips were good also. They have a good selection of beers to choose from. When you are in Southbank, give the Plough Inn a go. Also it is a really good idea to book your table in advance as it is very popular with tourists and locals..

I dined at The Plough Inn just then and had a beautiful Chicken Parmigiana with Peppercorn sauce for dinner. I also had a jug of Great Northern Original 4.2% beer to drink in a pint glass. The chicken parmy was very mouth watering and absolutely delicious. The beer I had was nice and cold and very refreshing. Especially in extremely hot weather at the moment. The service I received was very prompt and friendly from Rio & Flo and they both looked after me very well. They are both genuinely nice people. Overall, I love visiting the venue and it’s a lovely place to have a feed etc at. 😀😀

Great location in Southbank and good food! Especially great place for New Year's Eve and the fireworks!!
After a mixup with our booking (notes not left for venue staff about our request for outdoor table), Jaz and Ryan did a great job of finding a table outside for us - right near the band and DJ - even better!!
And all on a fully booked might that was already a challenge for the team!

booked a table for sunday night and the area we got seated was amazing!! it was on the second floor right near the balcony, super quiet level with a great atmosphere and a good view of the live music (which wasn’t too loud either). even though the footy was on, it wasn’t super crowded or overwhelming. the service was also amazing! they made sure we had everything we needed and were super polite. food was great too, and it didn’t take ages to come out like other places. overall a great night and definitely will be coming back! :)

A decent pub with live music and a friendly atmosphere. The food was reasonable and there was a decent selection of drinks available too. Great to groups for a quick bite to each, or for an evening listening to live music at the weekend. Lots of seats available indoors and outside, with most of the seats being undercover for those rainy days. We were served very quickly too which was great, with food ordering conducted from the table QR code.

We attended the Plough Inn while in Brisbane and loved it. It's an awesome venues with plenty of room with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

There is a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails and the food is delicious! I recommend the Ribs!

They have live music is great and not too loud which allows for good conversation.

Plough is always iconic! Workers, Shelby and Lachie in particular were awesome hosts to our large group of people. Lachie was super accommodating, polite and has great initiative!

Great local pub in the heart of Southbank Parkland. Staff freindly, food was fantastic, were lucky enough to enjoy the Monday Ribs for $25 instead of $57. Highly recommend. Live music as well.

Such an amazing time, we had a 16 person lunch and everything was beautiful. From the beginning, the staff were attentive and got back to me within hours.Would use them again and again!

I haven't been here in years, but had a yearning for some meat and remembered that PI does a great rack ribs. Didn't disappoint and they're still doing a great job maintaining the quality of food and a great atmosphere with live music in the beer garden. 😁👍🏼

Great pub in the city with an amazing view. Good food you can order via QR code menu with good kids options and some non alcoholic options too. Service is fast friendly and efficient, even in public holidays like today. Second time I've been here and I like it.

It's been years since iv been here and I was pleasantly surprised at the subtle changes since my last visit. The missus and I stopped by for a drink and were greeted by a happy bar team that had a great demeanor and weren't dismissive like a lot of other places are. I love that the building has kept a lot of the old aesthetics and very much still is an old aussie pub. The other patrons last night were awesome and had a lot of fun. And security seemed to be well mannered and reasonable which was great. Very relaxed fun atmosphere.

Excellent food menu reasonably priced fast service friendly and polite staff

Lunch time menu was great! Food was amazing, plenty of tables to choose from. Only a 25 minute wait, which wasn't too bad. Staff cleaned up quickly after we had finished. Extensive menu. Will be back

Came here for Riverfire, BrisFest Awesome Atmosphere, DJ was amazing, Bartender was great, although drinks and Food was a little expensive. I was able to use my Afterpay Gift Card, the Pub & Bar Card so that was so Handy.
They were really really busy but still found room to accommodate us. Also The Toilets were very clean 👏 👍

We were at the Plough Inn for a work function, and I was greatly impressed by the atmosphere and service we received. With a group of 20 among other larger groups, the staff didn't miss a beat. The food was delicious and quick to come out, considering how many meals they were preparing at once. I'll go back there again. Our thanks in particular to the deck staff.

The best ribs I have ever had. Make sure you go on a Monday they are half price. Lovely vibe and super friendly staff.

Had an espresso martini and a Pimm’s pitcher and they were both SO great!! Ryan and staff were awesome and even let us charge our phones after a long day which was so appreciated!!! Would definitely come back!
