Thanks to the amazing team at Alba Bar! Faultless from the start to the end! The menu is small and not only delicious but creative and great value for money. The staff were charming and exceptional service. Congratulations to Rowan S. Head chef that came to our table to deliver himself a special request, it made us feel welcome and special. Outstanding!

Absolutely loved this place. Croquettes with the blue cheese seriously stole the show. Didn’t try the drinks so that’s another reason for me to go back. The food was cooked up by Chef Shaun and he was really approachable and friendly - and needless to say but the food was so good! Definitely coming back soon!! Nice vibe too! Win win win

Lovedddd Alba! The food was just delish, we had basque wine as well which was👌🏾👌🏾(should have bought a bottle!) Hard to pick a favourite from all the dishes because everything was amazing! Sardines, pippis, asparagus, sirloin in chimichuri and steak tartare 😍😍😍 cannot wait to be back for more wine and probably order all the same dishes plus more! Also, customer services was 10/10! Great little space, feel of exclusivity and love that we can see the chef cook!

Alba is a tucked away tapas bar down Burnett lane. The owner, Jamie, served us personally. He is an ex-master chef contestant and extremely passionate in what he does.
The food was exceptional, we tried several tapas from their scallops, to croquette, black sausage and rump steak. Everything tasted superb and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Brisbane. It reminded us of a Melbourne laneway restaurant, except in Brissy. Definitely try as many dishes as you can, you won't regret it!

Can’t fault this place. Friendly efficient staff. Excellent selection of tapas from small to large plates. Great wines and sherries too. Loved it!

Cozy yet nice spacious venue with good lighting and ceiling height. There is a open kitchen at the corner and the bar has full stock!

Gotta try food there too. It’s not just cocktails but the food to go with them. Check out the special and make conversations with friendly and knowledgeable staffs.

I stopped by Alba to kick-start my holiday and I highly recommend you stop by. A cool vibe, great music and a seat at the bar with a view into the action of the kitchen. The wine list is excellent and the special croquet of the day was a highlight - absolute perfection! The staff are really friendly which is much appreciated as a solo diner. I left with a list of places they recommended for me to explore on my night out. Thank you to the Alba crew and see you next time.

Awesome tapas and spanish wine. Delicious food and casual atmosphere. Menu range is great. Fresh oysters, tasty preserved food and great main. Wine recommenfations were good too. Conveniently located in CBD. Will return to taste more of their food and wine.

If you like nooks, visit Burnett Lane's Albar Bar and treat your tastebuds to some unpretentious, flavour packed food, knocked back with a well made cocktail, plus. The server wasn't pushy and patiently answered why these mussels tasted nothing like store bought. Yep, im one of those ppl who thinks some more things should be on a shelf.
The Steak Frites was a gamble; if only casinos were easy to win at. The meat is theatre and substance. The char gave some texture and then gave way leaving my teeth having to settle for chomping on chips.
Price was great and the menu options offered some interesting combinations. The quick service and drink making prowess of the server could sink some cash into the bar.

Scallops, oysters and croquettes were out of this world amazing. Probably the best scallops we’ve had. Such a great atmosphere and delicious drinks!

Casual bar with an excellent atmosphere and flawless service. Cocktails were excellent. Great place on your own or in groups.

We went to Alba after drinks next door and my goodness, I'm glad we did! We ordered five plates of various sizes and everything was incredible! The croquetas and beef tatare were the best we have ever had! We are already planning to return

Nice little laneway bar with delicious tapas and a good range of drinks. Laid back and positive vibe and staff are really friendly and helpful. Recommend the chorizito and lamb pies. Stats getting busy on Fridays from around 6pm so get there early if you want a table. Otherwise just hang around the decent sized bar.

During these tough times of social distancing. Found this great restaurant bar open for takeaway only. Had great tapas and chatted to owner. Great to see these places still open in inner brisbane Burnett lane. Will defiantly be back during these times and later. Take away cocktails were great.
