I started going to one Pilates class a week back in January 2014 thinking I wouldn’t stick to it. 1 1/2 years later - I have been doing two classes a week and sometimes a third! For someone who doesn’t usually stick to any exercise, I have impressed myself! Belinda and the team are great instructors. They are encouraging, supportive, positive and extremely helpful whether it be within their classes or simply posting a healthy recipe for all of us to try.

I have been down the path of going to the gym and had absolutely no motivation compared to how much I love going to my Pilates classes each week! The classes are great and I have made some good friends by going there. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to try a class at Art of Pilates. See if you become addicted like I have!

Attending Belinda's classes at Art of Pilates has been a complete life-health-changer for me. I first started with Belinda 3 years ago after a collapsed lung, and through slow and steady management I regained my confidence and my full lung capacity back! I was then hooked on pilates and through twice weekly classes I lost weight, gained tone I never knew I had, and felt strength which empowered me to feel so great! I have attended Belinda's classes recently as a pre-natal student - and with a gentle strength building program went right up until 39 weeks. Art of Pilates is fantastic as you attend in small class groups of 4 or 5 but each student has their own tailored program and Belinda is beyond amazing at coaching and correcting every one of us in the room. I have absolutely loved every session at Art of Pilates and cannot recommend Belinda highly enough.

1. Belinda is a very professional Pilates instructor. I have one on one sessions with her when I'm in Sydney and she honestly is better than all the personal trainers I have experienced in the past. Belinda truly cares about if my movement and posture is correct while doing the exercise (unlike some unprofessional personal trainers you see at gyms where they just want to chat with you and get through the sessions).
2. Belinda keeps strict hygiene standards, socks are compulsory (you can buy nice Pilates socks there if you forgot to bring yours), she disinfects and wipes down the benches and equipment after each session.
3. I've had one on one sessions with other instructors and they are all very professional and knowledgeable as well.
4. The location is convenient, it is next to Woolworth so you can do your grocery shopping before or after the Pilates sessions.

I have been doing Pilates with Belinda since November 2017 and I highly recommend this place!

Art of Pilates is an excellent Pilates studio. As I have a history of a troublesome back I was so happy to find someone that was extremely experienced, who really understood Pilates and how it can be used as a rehab, maintenance and fitness tool. Also, Belinda genuinely cares and works closely with you. Belinda can spot even the subtlest shifts in your body that may prevent you from doing an exercise correctly or worse actually harm yourself. When such care is taken it is very reassuring. The setup is very professional with a friendly atmosphere. I happily recommend this studio.

Belinda at Art of Pilates is the most fantastic pilates teacher i have had.
Initially she helped me to really strengthen my body and rehabilitate my lower back with a personalised program where i saw results very quickly.
Following this i have continued at Art of Pilates as it is a really great workout in a fun, friendly environment.
And most of all Belinda is so lovely which has all her clients, including me, visiting on a weekly basis (or more!).
Would highly recommend for anyone at any age or fitness level as everything is catered to you.

I started Pilates to help me with my back pain. My posture was pretty terrible and every couple of months my back would spasm and cause me to take time off work and not do much so I started attending 2 classes each week. I have been going to Art of Pilates for over 6 months now and my back pain has gone and my core much stronger. Belinda and her team are amazing and I always walk out taller and feeling happy! The team is really great fun! I highly recommend Art of Pilates to anybody who wants to get rid of back pain and improve their core strength and posture!

I came across Art of Pilates after experiencing a lot of issues that left me unable to do any exercise. I wanted a pilates class that focused on rehabilitation, this is exactly what Belinda and her team do. With exercises tailored to my program I started using muscles that I've never used before with weight lifting and running (causing my injuries) and because of this I was able to engage the muscles that weren't working properly when I started running and weight lifting again.

Art of Pilates has changed my life, I wouldn't be able to run or do any weight lifting now if it wasn't for Belinda and her team. I recommend 1 on 1 classes if you have specific injuries that need rehabilitation.

This practice is fantastic!! I came in with dreadful pain in my neck and after a few sessions of learning how to sit with better posture in my wheelchair my neck pain has disappeared. My balance has also improved immensely and I am a lot stronger and can sit up much straighter than when I started. Belinda and Miranda the instructors are incredibly nice, very patient and kind.
I definitely recommend who experience pain do Pilates and I recommend Art of Pilates as one of the best!

Belinda and her team at Art of Pilates have changed my life.
I was constantly injuring myself trying to exercise at home when a physio suggested I try Pilates to strengthen my areas of weakness.
From my first class at Art of Pilates, I recieved close attention to make sure I was moving my body correctly in order to prevent injury. I was given a personalised exercise plan to ensure I was working on the areas that needed the most work.
18 months later, I'm injury free and stronger than I've ever been (and you should see my arms!!)
I can not recommend Art of Pilates highly enough!

My second experience with reformer pilates, was with Belinda at Art of Pilates.
This was most definitely better than my first experience and I have committed to the practise ever since.
Belinda is positive, motivating and very thorough, ensuring your technique is perfect at all times.
Belinda excels at both individual and group classes.
Group circuit is excellent value for money as classes are limited to 4 persons only, so, you are still able to receive one on one tuition and guidance.
I highly recommend Art of Pilates to anyone looking to begin or continue the art of pilates!

My physio suggested I try Pilates for back and neck pain and referred me to Art of Pilates.

All of the instructors made me feel very welcome and I look forward to my classes every week as I always learn something new.

What I love is the education behind everything. Belinda and Katrina tell me why I am doing a particular exercise so I understand what I am doing.

There are only ever 4 people in the group class so I always feel I am getting personalised attention.

I have tried Pilates elsewhere in a larger group and because the exercises had to cater to everybody, I felt that I wasn't getting results.

I love that I get my own program and have been going twice a week for 6 weeks. I can already feel and see the difference.

The instructors at Art of Pilates are AMAZING! I like to think of myself as a seasoned Pilates go-er and every time I attend I walk out feeling taller, longer, leaner and stronger.

I love Pilates to help me with my posture, to keep my weight down and muscles toned. The instructors are super friendly and are always giving me a new challenge. I can't recommend them enough

I have always enjoyed exercise but degenerate disc disorder has meant that l could no longer participate at the same level. That was until l found Art of Pilates and after only 3 months l am stronger, fitter and pain free.
Art of Pilates' Belinda Green is an exceptional trainer, who worked with my chiropractor to design a programme to increase my flexibility and core strength.
Now l have the freedom to be more active and sleep better as consequence.
I whole heartedly recommend Art of Pilates who has given me a better quality of life and they can do the same for you.

I don't normally post reviews but thought I'd take the time as I have been so happy with my results! The first thing that attracted me to Art of Pilates was the small group environment, with no more than 4 people in a class. I love that every time I go, I have my own program to work on which has been specifically designed for me and what stage I have been at during my pregnancy. I started Pilates twice a week, 8 weeks after the birth of my first child. I improved my core strength, pelvic floor and posture and returned to my pre-pregnancy weight quite quickly. It felt great to fit back into all of my normal clothes again and lose that last stubborn bit of baby weight.
Belinda and Miranda helped me through my second pregnancy and I attended up until 34 weeks! I have just started back here again and am loving it. I would recommend Art of Pilates for any pre natal and post natal women - the personalised attention and closely supervised workout designed for me worked wonders. Much better than the Pilates mat class I was attending at a big gym!

I started Pilates to help me with my posture as I am a cyclist. I had upper and lower back pain from cycling and work. Since starting with Art of Pilates they have explained the importance of doing particular exercises which your body needs to stay strong and mobile. I was stuck in a forward hunched posture due to cycling and a desk job. The girls have been so wonderful and patient in showing me what I need to do. I attend both private and group sessions and feel so much better for it. I can cycle without pain and my abs are stronger and my hill climbs have improved. Thanks girls!

I returned to Pilates after having 2 babies and was looking for a studio that provided a more tailored class to me. I had areas that needed work and also was experiencing some pain in areas. The whole team made me feel really comfortable and small classes allowed one on one help. After a few weeks the pain was gone and I was so much stronger.
Would highly recommend.

I recently did a pilates class at Art of Pilates with a friend. I was nervous at first as I have only ever done a couple of pilates classes and had never tried pilates reformer, but Belinda put my friend and I immediately at ease with her friendly and easy going manner. Belinda tailored a workout for us so that we could learn some of the basic moves and use a range of the equipment such as the reformer machine, stability chair and toning balls. Perfect for us beginners! Belinda also made sure that we were using the correct technique for each exercise. The studio is decorated beautifully and is a great space in which to get fit and toned! I'll definitely be back for another class.

After my accident, I never thought that I would ever feel normal again. I started with Belinda 7 months ago. We initially started off with stretching and building my confidence and now I go in every week and have a fantastic workout. I am now back in normal shoes, climbing up stairs and playing with my children again. I am gaining strength every week. Belinda understands that you are not just the injury but the person behind the injury that needs to get better. Belinda and pilates was the best thing for my road to recovery. Thank you so much.

I really like the small classes and the friendly environment at Art of Pilates. I'm not an athlete and have never done much in the way of exercise, but Belinda and her team helped make getting started much less intimidating. The personalised programs are great, and after a few months I'm feeling much stronger and I'm enjoying it!
