Gladstone Store

My brother and I have visited this store a few times. Plenty of parking on the surrounding streets. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a hello and a smile.
The coffees are excellent here and the pies are delicious.
There is a park across the road to enjoy a coffee.

We stopped in on a Friday lunch, picked up two fresh juices, two quiche and a spinach roll all for $41. Service was great. Good was spot on. Walked down to the water and we had a beautiful view to enjoy our view.

Lovely little place opposite the park. Good coffee, cute caramel slices (mini ones at $1.50 so you don’t feel too guilty) and a range of homemade sauces. Really nicely put together. There is a menu too, and salads but this was a quick trip for me, so I didn’t get to explore fully.

Great coffee, amazing choice of home made food and treats. The friendliest and kindest team, I am so grateful to live close by and be able to shop here every week 💕

Found this lovely gem in Birchgrove yesterday via Instagram and instantly knew I had to cross the bridge to have their homemade cakes and pies. It was worth the travel! The mixed berry Almond cake was divine! Moist, light and delicious I could eat the whole cake. The egg and bacon pie is a must try also. Crisp pastry and delicious filling. The place itself is cosy and very welcoming. Owners Tim and Soli are very nice and friendly.

Tim and Suki are fabulous,always a pleasure to go there for a delicious meal and a great company.I have my favourite dishes and I encourage everyone to find theirs by visiting the store regularly.

Love this place, great consistent coffee, and wonderful home baked goods and produce.

Excellent coffee (and I'm fussy). Lots of really good home grown produce (grown in regional NSW) and products. Really worth a try. Tim and Suki provide great personal service.

The food was delicious and fresh too. Can't beat the coffee here, it was amazing. I will defiently be coming back here more often now.

Tim and Suki are such a fabulous asset to the neighbourhood. Great food and coffee, breakfast or lunchtime snacks, plus a few basic groceries.

The Home Delicious Things at Gladstone Store certainly live up to their name. We had a salmon quiche and a beetroot and feta quiche for our party recently and they were devine. Recommend their coffee and catering.

Whenever I laid eyes on this spot I knew I needed to go and test it out - it had been one of these traditional corner shops, but with class. In reality, unlike a lot of them which you see around the area, it was not covered in advertisements, and it surely did not have a huge 7-11 neon sign out front . It's a shame it is hidden from the back roads of Balmain though because when it had been near me I'd be down quite frequently. Everything they market seems to be homemade or home grown, and they create some pretty amazing coffee too. Alright, it is not a sit down cafe, but then I have not seen many corner shops which have a sit space in them (however they've got a few chairs outdoors, which I use when I received my java ). Great little place, and worth seeing if you're in the place (although you probably already know more about the location if you just happen to stay at Birchgrove).

My favourite cafe in Sydney! Historic stone building on the corner opposite beautiful Birchgrove park. Tim makes the best coffee and Suki makes delicious quiches, pastries & chocs. They sell fresh produce and nice milk. At Gladstone Store, everyone (& their dog) sits outside under the wide verandah - it's become the hub of the local community.

Gladstone Store is the best local cafe in the Balmain/Birchgrove area. The cute corner store is perfectly located across the park, serving amazing coffee, fresh produce and delicious homemade treats. We come here far too often for weekend lunches, they’re too good!
