Yachiyo Japanese Bistro Mosman

Dined here many times and on this visit everything was great: service quick, food delicious and we even got complimentary dessert. On our must order list are always popcorn shrimp and pork buns and this time we also loved zucchinis and delicious slow cooked wagyu . Definitely recommend to visit this local gem

Had a really nice dinner here. Such different flavours in each dish, highly recommend the popcorn prawn, agadashi tofu and two colour eggplant. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved it. Everything was good - the tuna taco, the slow cook Wagyu, the rainbow sushi, the gyozas. Will definitely go back.

It is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Sydney. The food is absolutely delicious and I recommend it to everyone. Try the Slow Cooked Wagyu, Popcorn shrimp and cauliflower, Chicken Karaage, Cheesy Okonomiyaki

In a week of firsts for restaurants I had yet to visit, I ticked Yachiyo off my list. And subsequently added to my list of restaurants I must return to.

I know understand why this place is so busy every time I walk past. The food is excellent. And we try enough dishes.

Super delicious Japanese. Fresh and modern with interesting twists on the usual dishes. Charming setting in a small, cosy room. Perfect place for a date night or catch up with friends. Highly recommend.

Fantastic staff, excellent atmosphere, good drinks (including sake tasting), and the food is phenomenal! I'd recommend ordering a few dishes and then when you've finished, order a few more!

A fab little Japanese joint in the heart of Mosman. Cosy inside, with outdoor seating in warmer months (and BYO!). Offering easy takeaway pick up during covid times. The staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond to try and accommodate. The sushi and sashimi are delicious, as are the hot options (e.g. pork buns, salmon and chicken skewers). A local favourite for a reason.

Fantastic food including some great specials. Would highly recommend the fish tempura and the dumplings.

Sensational. Came here as a walk in on a Tuesday night after Pilates, had the best Japanese we’ve had in a long time. Wonderful friendly and capable service, be ready to pay $100 for two people but it’s 100% worth it. Incredible.

When I went to this restaurant with my four kids and my husband I was served by two lovely young ladies Ruby and Lola they were so nice and great with my young children and even went to the extent of kissing our children goodbye the food was great me and my husband look forward to seeing Ruby and Lola again great food

We have been living around the corner from this restaurant for years. Recently went for dinner with friends and we were so pleasantly surprised. This is one of our local Asian/ Japanese restaurants and since the renovation and the upgrade in food offering we can't stop talking about it. The quality of the food, the freshness of the produce and the kindness of the staff that are so helpful in explaining the menu.

We've been back almost every week since they reopened in September and can't wait to discover more favourites on their nice menu. Thank you for elevating the food scene in Mosman! We are in love!

I really love this place. Amazing, fresh and carefully prepared food. Had a small birthday party here recently and we were treated like royalty. We chose "Me So Hungry" tasting menu. Best deal ever! And the sake is just out of this world. We love the new renovation and the amazing new dishes! This is now our go to Japanese Restaurant in Mosman!!

Discovered this gem recently through a friends recommendation and wow! Service is always lovely & food is great, (spicy tuna roll is always a favourite). Glad we have found our new local Japanese & can support this venue during tough times!

Lovely Japanese Restaurant. You can't go wrong here even for a special occasion. The food is delicious with great portion sizes and good value for money. Love the sashimi which is consistently very fresh. Staff are lovely with their attentive service. Lucky if you can get an outside table during a warm and relaxing evening. Highly recommended.

This is the best Japanese I've ever had! Hands down the best Japanese in Sydney. Just sit back while you have Sebastian take you through the entire menu. With his quick wit and fantastic knowledge of the food he will make your night. Then you will enjoy some of the best food in the entire world! The desserts were beautiful. Though unfortunately not to my taste... A very small price to pay...

I've tried most of the Japanese restaurants around the area, and for me this one is the best. The aburi sushi is the best I've ever had. The tuna tacos are to die for, and the Miso cod is a 10/10. The sauce is incredible.

We've just had dinner with a couple of friends in the newly reopened Yachiyo, we've been going to the one in Darlinghurst... but this one is just one level up! What a treat! The food was just amazing! Best Japanese we had so far! And the staff were helpful explaining the menu! Can't wait to go back!

Another one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Sydney. It's very busy and I I can understand why. The food is excellent with good portions. You can be full with around $25 to $30 per person.
