Proud Furniture

We recently purchased a corner lounge suite from proud furniture. We were very happy with the service and the lounge looks beautiful. The showroom at Silverwater has a wide display of lounges in various fabrics, which I found not many other stores have. And best of all, the lounges are made to order in Australia!

Back for new recliners after 15 years!

Our previous Proud Furniture Ambassador recliners finally declined after 15 years... We started looking at other recliners and after being disappointed that there was nothing as good as our old ones, we realized Proud were still there and the still make the Ambassador!

Peter welcomed us to the store and lead us to the Ambassador and from the second we sat in the new recliner we realized two things. The first was we found our new recliners! The second was we should probably replaced our old ones a year or two earlier!

The Ambassador is so comfortable, Peter offered us a great deal and we ordered on the spot. They were able to deliver them to us within 4 weeks and it is made in Australia, which was a fantastic bonus.

We highly recommend Proud Furniture, Peter and the Ambassador recliners in particular, there really isn't a more comfortable recliner on the market!

We received our Zigolini chair, beautifully made and finished in the lovely fabrics we chose. It was exactly what we asked for with a clever use of fabrics for an interesting finish.

We are a repeat customer of Proud, so when we wanted to get a new lounge we had to include them in our search. We saw some nice modern lounges at a local store in Castle Hill, but they were very pricey and said they would get back to us with a quote as we wanted a custom size - Never did. Proud staff was very helpful and we could have any colour in any configuration and material we liked, was built here in Australia, cost less and delivery times frames were way better for thousands less. Ticked all our boxes so we also purchased another Sofa bed while we there for our granny flat. Check others out for sure, but don't miss checking out Proud furniture.

Recently purchased a lounge at the Proud Silverwater store with heaps of extras. Loved dealing with the Silverwater staff who understood what I wanted and were able to build that into a custom made lounge with accessories for me and my family.
Couldn't be happier with the service, support and delivery of the product.

After looking around extensively for a lounge we eventually arrived at the Proud furniture showroom in Silverwarer. The experience we had at this shop was worthy of the review that proceeds. On our arrival we were greeted by Ray who was both professional and congenial in his approach to us and was very knowledgeable about the extensive range of furniture on display. It was a pleasure to come to a place like this because there was no pressure to purchase. We felt relaxed and could make a decision on what we purchased based on the information that Ray presented us with as we perused the showroom. Eventually we decided on a piece of furniture. The deal was consummated on the basis of the outstanding deal Ray offered us. We received the purchase before Christmas as promised. The courier was such a gentleman! Proud furniture! Well named. We will make you the first port of call on our next purchase!

I have been using these guys for 12 years! I don't know why someone would buy a lounge from a major retailer when they can choose everything they want in style, comfort - leather or fabric... 100% Australian made! I write this review lying on my new Electric Recliner!!! Thanks again!!!

I wish there were more places like this! If you're after a new lounge this is the place to go. They have a showroom which lets you see and feel the different styles, sizes and materials. You can either purchase the floor stock or pick one of the styles and have it custom made with your own specifications and choice of materials/colours etc. The staff are super friendly and professional. The prices are very competitive for what you are getting - locally made, high quality furniture with an unbeatable warranty program. Their build to order turn around times are also unmatched when compared to other stores. I can't recommend them enough!

Absolutely love the product, my electric recliners are perfect. Service is above and beyond and the guys delivering and taking away the recliners were totally awesome. If I could give 6 stars I would.
