Keramic Cafe & Restaurant

I was in complete awe when I entered this place! Hidden gem ! I have seen the place on Google maps lot many times but happened to be there as I was attending Westmead hospital and wished I had been there before ! What a vibe - vintage looking cafe with pretty good menu options. I just went there for takeaway but i will do justice to the place when I actually sit there and try their food.
Mocha and ham/cheese sandwich was good. People were friendly!

What a pleasant experience. The cafe is unique and has a nice setup with an outdoor garden seating area. The food was really fresh and tasty. Large menu, will definitely be returning.

The House, KERAMIC is situated in, is like looking back it time, to yesteryear ! The DECOR is Gorgeous. Very Comfortable .

My husband had an appointment at Westmead and we had to take our 3 dogs with us, Hendricks, Olive and Maple, and I walked them around while we waited, spotted this gorgeous cafe and restaurant on the corner. We were allowed to sit outside in the garden with the dogs and enjoyed a latte which was so good I instantly wanted another. When i went inside to reorder it was only them I realised that they actually weren't open and were preparing for their dinner service. I was immediately impressed with their customer service, friendliness and the fact that they were happily making us lattes even though they weren't actually open! I can't therefore comment on the food but the coffee was superb 👌. Eclectic mix of antiques inside what was once the pastors' residence attached to a church but not used as such since the 1970s and really lovely atmosphere both inside and outside in the garden - not in this area often but definitely will return.

Hidden gem of Westmead! An absolute treasure of a place. It's a homestead from the early 1900s that's been fitted out as a quaint little cafe and restaurant with multiple rooms, sheltered outdoor seating with heating, and peaceful setting. This kind of charm and atmosphere is rare in the city, more like a peaceful country house, and yet directly opposite Westmead hospital.

Oh and the food...wow! The flavours, quality and presentation here put many other higher priced places to shame. The place doubles as a Thai restaurant in the evenings, and the Thai beef curry dish I had here is one of the nicest Thai curries I've ever had, with beautifully tender beef.

Service is absolutely amazing, with very friendly staff.

I stayed at the 175 hotel next door for a couple of nights, had dinner once and breakfast twice at Keramic. They work with the hotel to do in-room dining as well.

Very highly recommended, and I will definitely visit again!

I loovee this cafee! They make cafe brunch and Thai dishes but omgg they were all so good! I had pork basil rice, fish and chips and a burger. From those three, fish and chips was the BEST! super crunchy and yummy🥹 pls go try!!

This cafe is so unique! I love all the bric-a-brac that has been collected and scattered throughout, it adds so much charm. The coffee, food and service is amazing! I love the creativity in all the dishes and the way they are beautifully presented! 💯😍 This place is a real treat for those who have this as their local! Very lucky indeed 👏🏽

I discovered this place when I was cycling to Parramatta park and only had time to grab a coffee. I promised myself I would be back. Finally got to have lunch there today with some special guests (which I had to really impress) and was not disappointed - food was yummy (big serving size too) and the ambiance with the vintage style design was great.

Definitely a hidden gem in Westmead!

Gorgeous little cafe with walls adorned with amazing antiques and vintage collectables. Coffee is the best.

This place is a hidden treasure. Ensconced in a 100 year old traditional Aussie Homestead, it is hard to notice at first in the jumble of tramway engineering adjacent to Westmead Hospital.

The ambience is inviting with tasteful antiques, photos, art and furniture, the staff are warm, charming and helpful and the Menu has everything you could want... surf, turf, chicken, pasta, fishnchips, and many more delicacies for both entree and mains.

But what is truly amazing is the price.. with most dishes around the $20 mark for large platters of perfectly cooked food of all kinds. There is an amazing burger for aficionados, best chips you will taste, best fresh salads, awesome steaks, lamb and chicken dishes, great al dente pasta, squid, etc...

To top it off... fantastic coffee and iced coffee (in a huge glass jar), non-alcoholic affogato, massive choice of teas and beverages.

BYO as well so you can enjoy the very best lunch or dinner with your favourite wines and beers at basic cost.

Your choice of garden dining, indoor tables in intimate rooms or takeaway.

Been there three times now and every item on the menu excellent. And we are very critical diners.

Dinner as part of room service through hotel 175 next door. The chicken parmi was tender and nicely done. The thai cashew chicken dish was flavorful. 10/10 would recommend!

Their hot chips are 10/10 with great friendly service. Go one get a bowl of hot chips and prove me wrong 😂😂😂 the pic of the empty basket and sauce bowls are the aftermath. The fish and chips are spectacular so is the Crispy Chicken Burger

If you are looking for awesome food, great vibes, warm and welcoming hosts and cute insta worthy decor- this is your stop.
We had dinner here which was Pad Thai, 2 salmon dishes (cho chee and Atlantic) and green curry- all were superb. For dessert we had the cheesecake and mango mastani- again yummm.
The staff were so polite and patient to wait for us to finish our meal even though it was beyond their closing time.
We will be back for sure- repeatedly.. ❤

I ordered a take-away bowl of soup and croissant for tea and they offered room service.

A lovely plate of pumpkin soup with mushroom, parsley and marigolds petals garnish and toasted garlic sourdough together with a large croissant with bacon, cheese and avocado appeared 10 minutes later.

An excellent light meal at a very reasonable cost, friendly, cheerful service and just what my poor husband needed to cheer him up after a day under the knife.

Nice indoor area as well, with lots of nooks and curios. Altogether a happy experience.
